      Repent and trust in Jesus. He's the only way. We deserve Hell because we've sinned. Lied, lusted stolen, etc. But God sent his son to die on the cross and rise out of the grave. We can receive forgiveness from Jesus. Repent and put your trust in him.

    I supplemented a lot of my costs for going to university being a self-employed tutor, saving a lot on loans.
    The feeling of making your own money, on your own terms while using skills you worked hard for is really something special.
    Plus its the best when you get thanks for helping someone's kid go from nearly failing a year to passing their exams.

    Great video. I often will admit to customers if i don’t know the answer to their question, but commit to finding out for them and always go back to them. At first it felt wrong to say this, but in admitting where you lack knowledge and seeking the answers, you progress so much quicker than those who just BS their way through life. I myself know that its scary to ask questions for fear of looking stupid, so acknowledging “that’s an awesome question, id never considered that before, I don’t know the answer, but will find out” is a great move as you can see them feel more confident to talk to you and it helps establish a bond which will often lead to more questions and opportunities.

    As long as you can do the job correctly, I see no reason why you can’t start at 18. You love music, you want to help others make music, and fixing pianos is uncommon. I think most are grateful you can do it, because they cannot.

    • @yasininn76
      @yasininn76 7 місяців тому +1

      First and foremost, at 18 some might be in need of money. Then if we're specifically talking about a piano tuning business, you just gotta assume that many people where you live have a piano. Then you gotta risk it by being completely inexperienced and having to pay up by your pocket if you mess up, which you're probably not gonna be able to do because you're 18 and pianos cost an eye and a half. There are many MANY reasons of why someone could, should or would not be able to start their own business at 18.

    One of my best friends his son started a lawncare business when he were 13/14 with Him (Dad) as the owner/driver Leo works on the yards with his riding lawn mower and weedeater and pushing lawn mower. and this is his thing, Fast forward till now, the Village is interested in hiring him to use his service for cutting the small overflow drainage ditches in this Village also. Starting a business where there is a need isn't bad, just as you said... good luck and please don't stop your efforts, this is inspiring to see

    I worked at a local hardware store for close yo 3 years. My coworkers were all elderly, with decades of experience and some even being employed their for decades. All polite and helpful. But I always got comments for my willingness to help the customer however I could, and at the end of the day, that's all that mattered. People didn't care I was only 20, they cared about the politeness, my thoroughness, and my willingness to do everything possible to help them out. At the end of the day, that's what a good customer cares about - what you're able to bring to the table. Those who care about age and other superficial things aren't good customers. Keep fixing pianos ❤

    Good for you. One big issue with many rechnicians is that they look at an old instrument and condemn it. So many fine instruments have been lost that way. My own piano is a 1903 Gerard Heinzman "Grand in Upright Form" as the Patent label states. Finding someone to tune and tdle care of it is very difficult.

People definitely treat you differently when you’re young. I have an amazing quote that I live by and it’s hanging in my bedroom as we speak. Whether you’re a christian or not, this is an awesome quote/piece of scripture. “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” -Timothy 4:12
