I'm a 67 year old widow and I just want you to know that I love your channel!
Definitely my favorite UA-camr
I love finding one of your videos that I haven’t seen yet. Thanks as always and God Bless you and your family. Let’s get you to a million subscribers!!
It’s all about the details. I think your videos are the most informative videos of all the fishing videos of the area you fish in you provide all the info one needs to do what you do and that’s what people want thanks and keep on fishing
No need trying to guess what your doing in your videos. You do a great job teaching us all we need to know if we travel that way. Thanks
Thank you for your military service. Love Old Glory flying off your deck.
Great information on Regs, Rigs & descriptions- will be watching for your new releases
It’s 32 degrees up here in west Michigan and I’m missing Orange Beach like crazy!
Those pigfish make amazing grouper bait. I agree too man fresh mangrove snapper is second to none
I fish fresh water but I love watching you catch all different types of fish.
Thats where the poppin starts!
I love this Channel he gives you tips and it’s amazing entertainment
I love Perdido pass wall fishing for mangroves.
I'm a big fan of the oil rig video because I've never gotten to do it.
Just found the channel. Loving the videos. Love seeing a local fishing channel
Awesome! Appreciate ya watching !
It's a fun fishing spot, I really like watching it
because I also like fishing
Your cooking videos are the best S! Regards to the family!
Love your catch clean and cook series. Good job.
Thanks for all the information. Enjoyed the video.
Pretty sweet getting a free Gotcha Plug. Gotta love that!
Moving to Foley in April. Can’t wait to try to catch some and cook them. Would love for you to post a discussion on what months are best for what fish.
Man that looks great. I’m trying to get done there and fish more
For Taste?
Reds, sea trout, flounder, sheepshead, mangrove snapper and Spanish are all the same..... 9's and 10's
I personally like 17" - 18" trout. Lots of meat, hit lures, plenty of fight and plentiful....
Jacksonville, my home, rarely has mangroves....
Thanks for the nice clip.
Thanks for the info on snapper fishing. Didn't realize they had different regs. Love the catch n cooks gives me ideas to try👍👍
I've been watching most of your videos and find them very informative. My wife and I are coming to Orange Beach Labor day weekend to try our hand at surf fishing. Any locations you would recommend? And what's the dominate catch during this time. Thanks for your service.
I've started using Chef Paul's seasonings after seeing them on your channel. Great stuff, and perfect for seasoning fish. Love the content on your channel. Keep up the good work!
All good information. On the video as always.
The snapper looked delicious!
I tried the wall at the pass today.. unfortunately I haven’t got a way to keep live shrimp. I was using dead shrimp.
No Mangrove for me today. Many pig fish and a couple of baby Jack Crevalle.
Still a fun day.
I hope to come back down in October if not then the holidays for sure.
I used to fish Perdido at night. The specks are usually on the other side(west) ....around the bridge pilings.
Also, nice live shrimp in August on an incoming tide.. Midnight incoming tide is best. For shrimp catching , get a long pole and attach a net at end. Easy to spot on surface.
Thanks for the tip on a different way to hook a shrimp. I hate when all I do is feed the bait thieves
Thanks for the heads-up I did buy the $10 Reef Fish Endorsement this year and intended to Keep Some Mangroves however I had no idea about having to use a Circle hook, although I almost always do use a circle hook and I look for non stainless just incase of a hooked placement to deep to get out hoping it will rust out I guess my thinking is valid. Thanks again.
Thank you for sharing your videos but also where you went to buy bait and where you went to fishing.
Saw you working I’m hooked up bait shop Sunday
Appreciate the way you describe what you are using tackle wise.. will help us novice folks.BTW are those Owner Ghost circle hook deals the ones u can use for reef fishing?
I enjoy to watch your fishing 🎣 keep on posting
love these vids you find a way to make people hungry for it lol
Fly Our Flag Little Brother 🙏❤🇺🇸
Mangrove, sheepshead, cobia, grouper, triple tail, flounder, redfish, red snapper, vermillion oh my. I really can't pick my favorite.
I love that chef Paul’s on the grill. I can only find the small bottles of it in Tupelo, where did you get the big container of it. Awesome vid. Keep them coming!
Me too.! And I purchase them off of Amazon amzn.to/2W0omR4
Thanks for watching ! I appreciate it
Idk if you read comments this far back but if you ever need shrimp/bull minnows check the live bait place behind the gas station on cr 10 and 59
Enjoyed the video.
Awesome catch, clean, and cook . Do you ever consider doing fishing guides?
Appreciate you watching! And not at the moment but maybe in the near future !
Those aierated bait coolers are awesome I have the fabill 19qt
I love em !
Wow!! Why are the boats so close when you’re fishing right there?
We just saw you at the west pass in our little dingy we yelled at you hope we’re in the vidio😀
Awesome!! Glad we could say hey !! 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Great vid, thanks, dog !
Love the videos!
Thanks for watching 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
My favorite fish to catch and eat too followed by Flounder
New subscriber here. Your videos are great man. I’m going on vacation in September I’m gonna get some of your pompano rigs!! Hopefully we could fish together sometime!
Awesome!
So I know you use every brand and type of reel but I’m torn between a Penn Clash III and a Shimano Stradic. 3 or 4000. What do you think? I’ve got a couple of Battles already. Just needing to add another one.
I’ve owned both, and you cannot go wrong with either one. I’ll say the Clash is slightly heavier but feels like it can take a little more abuse than my Ci4’s. I’d go with the Clash II over the Regular Stradic.
@@BamaSaltwater Thanks man. Clash it is! I’ll stop by Hooked Up this weekend and grab one. I saw some there the other day.
I’m going to be there in a couple of weeks is that a good place in October
That would be awesome fun on a crappie rod
I’m surprise u don’t set out a red fish rod with cut or live bait in the pass
I know you can outfish me any day of the week and I know I am old fashioned but when did they make it illegal to fillet fish with the ribs on them, it's not just you but 99 percent of the fishing videos I watch they cut out the ribs from the fillet. The old saying goes, the closer to the bone the sweeter the meat and waist not want not. I love your videos YOU are a great fisherman and a Fine Young Man. I live in Pensacola Florida and I have tried to learn how to fish but I have been having some health problems but I want to try your methods. GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
I Absolutely love eating some Mango's!
1/2 cup sour cream, small splash of warm water to thin it out, rolling pin on sleeve saltine crackers in a gallon ziplock with the air squeezed out, roll them crackers to fine particles, add 1/2 cup white flour, add salt pepper Everglades seasoning. Take a big potato, peel it, cut it in half , cut the half in half then cut those in half, dip them taters in that cream and roll em in the dust, fry them at 340 take em out let them cool, Dip them fish in the cream roll em in the dust fry them at 340 till they roll over. The potatoes should be cool enough to eat with the fish 😀 good cheap eating keep it old fashioned with paper plates and an ice cold beer 🍻
Nice Mangrove.
Sitting in my truck in Michigan about 8 degrees and this man within 5 seconds “at least it’s not 90”
Is targeting sheepshead something that’s just seasonal down there? I caught one many years ago in S. Carolina and it was delicious.
Pretty much, I’ve caught them in July and August but they are in big numbers inshore and around structure in the winter and early spring
@@BamaSaltwater - that’s what I was thinking-! It was February when I caught them in S Carolina and I was actually on a golf trip at the time. Thanks for the great video. I’ll be down there from January-March again next year.
Very good fish
Plz plz make another video of here plz.
You need to do a cobia video
Curious to know why you have to use a non stainless steel hook to catch mangrove
This is a good read and explains the rules and regulations: www.outdooralabama.com/node/2674
Yes I understand u have to but it does not say y u have to
@@bamabama7938 it allows that hook to rust out faster on a fish that broke off and supposed to “prolong” the survival rate of these reef species. Most circle hooks are non stainless anyway. I use Owner’s
What’s up man! How much is a reef fish endorsement?
I still have yet to get one on the popper
What reel is that ? I’ve been looking for one just like it
Van Staal VR50 B
@@BamaSaltwater thanks man
I’m from Texas so would I need to be a alabama state resident to get a reef endorsement? Also can I get the reef endorsement at Walmart when I buy my fishing license there? Thanks!
From the Alabama Website:
“
Beginning August 26, 2019
“The Reef Fish Endorsement will be required for any person possessing, taking or attempting to take any gulf reef fish species listed in Rule 220-3-.46 (see below). This endorsement is required for all resident and non-resident anglers 16 years of age and older, and includes disabled, veterans appreciation, 65 and older, lifetime license holders, pier licenses, annual saltwater licenses, trip licenses, commercial fishermen, and charter boats.”
You should be able to purchase it where you buy your regular license
@@BamaSaltwater thanks for the help! God bless you and your family!
Why not a stainless hook?
Agreed mangs #1
Is a pig fish the same as a croker?
Different
Different species! But they can sound similar .
What’s the best fish to freeze
Any fish that aren’t oily! Usually Pompano, Red Drum, Sheepshead, and Snappers freeze good when cleaned and vacuum sealed
@@BamaSaltwater is Spanish and king going to do the same thing in the freezer I brought some home after being on ice for 4 days and it was still Awesome but was Spanish not king I have king and Spanish both in the freezer I will see how the king turns out after being frozen
@@richardbarnett7058 As long as it isn't in the freezer for a long time and properly cleaned. But being an oily fish, I don't usually freeze my mackerel.
I'm so damn picky with fish and how gamey some can be,but if its white and flakey like that ill go for it.
We get 5 per person within a 10 snapper aggregate 10”min
Try this put your battery in a bag yet the fish stay in for about 15 minutes before frying
👍🇺🇸🎣
Man honestly have nothings against you love how you catch those snappers but the way y'all fillet them is ridiculous waste of a beautiful fish ...blood boils watching you fillet
