I should add that most Malagasy speak only Malagasy some speak French as well as a second language and a handful speak English as a 3rd language or ( Italian in Nosy Be )
I should've also said about language barriers. Many only speak Malagasy, and many also speak French. Italian & English is a 3rd language that only the well educated or bar girls pick up.
Yeah language barrier is a big problem sometimes.

I am not the expert I just can tell you about what I experienced.
Most women do want to date and find a man for security. Just like you want a woman to be submissive. Love is a mutual agreement on both parties in my opinion. So is a marriage
The ones you really half to look out for is the ones that have a Malagasy man. They know your leaving and coming.
Most have a child early soo expect that.
Most see you as a investment-so they try and claim you
My limited advice is when they ask for a lot of money and they seem to always have a bill then run.
When they disappear and not answer there phone until night time run.
When you go to there place and they say there brother is a badgage driver and he takes you everywhere then run it’s probably her man
The ones that always wants to be under you and always wants to be with you and get mad when you go out by yourself and cooks and cleans even when you have a maid.
Those are the ones that probably travelled or really wants to be taken care of and can probably make a good wife or girlfriend.
The girls that travel sometimes have a man at home but still that is a chance you half to take

Many lady's are just like this in the tourist areas
What should be talked about are the what’s app groups
They have one with Malagasy wemen that talk about the man and if you make it on the Paige you are commented on good or bad. If you are looking for a woman and make the Paige forget it
The French also have a what’s app Paige and they comment on the woman. If you see your girl on that Paige then you know she been around
