    It seems no teams can speed them up, they dictate their pace and execute from the half court, Conley is a pick and roll maestro and I love the addition of Noah and SlowMo is starting to get more involved in the offense and once Jaren can stay out of foul trouble this team can be tough to beat thanks coach!

      Mike Love Thyself yea that’s why we can give a lot of teams problems in the playoffs even though we can’t score too well. The game is slower which we are use to.

    So refreshing to see a team who don't, out of laziness switch every pick and roll and give up mismatches when it's not necessary.

    Looooove Marc Gasol. Would love to hear more detail on how to play clever defence like him or even Draymond Green.

    Would be great if you could do a video on the thunder defense too, they have the best defensive rating, in contrast to last season.

    Great video. You should do a break down of the Warriors defense in their best defensive season... since it gets so overshadowed by their offense

    Can you do a video on zone defenses in the nba and when they’re most effective

    • @coachdaniel8163
      @coachdaniel8163  5 років тому +8

      Possibly I'll keep this in mind. I will say thus far anytime I've seen a zone run the offense had had little trouble scoring and generating good shots. Tough to play a zone in the NBA.

      Coach Daniel Ok. Thanks for the response. Also, for a video I think you could look at the Denver Nuggets offense. In my opinion Mike Malone is the most underrated offensive coach in the league when you look at what he did with that team in Sacramento and now in Denver and it seems like he’s also just starting to figure it out defensively too.

    Can you cover Robert Covington AKA Glovington? The T'wolves defense is drastically improved since trading for him.

    • @coachdaniel8163
      @coachdaniel8163  5 років тому +1

      Probably not because his defense has been well documented, but Glovington made me chuckle.

    May 2020, Memphis Grizzlies are currently the #8 Playoff Seed.
    Rookie point guard Ja Morant changed the culture back to NBA Playoff expectations for years to come.

    I never really watch Spurs, I didn't know much about Kyle Anderson. All I know is he's slow as hell but I didn't know he was this good at defense.

    The Grizz are consistently good defensive and inside scoring team, shooting has always been their problem. I wonder why they can't get good shooters to play for them?

  • @deandrepage1048

    Single-Double floor spacing is good against Grit & Grind defense.
    Best shooter on the SINGLE SIDE. 😀😀😀
    2 decent sharpshooters fill the wing & corner spots on the DOUBLE SIDE.

    They spend so much energy on D, both physical but also mental because they are engaged unlike some teams that just coast on that end and only engage when they have the ball. You get this coordination with knowledge of a system and practice, unlike some players that stage a revolution because the coach asked them to practice on a Sunday.. Cough Chicago cough.

    So proud of my Lakers 41 ATTEMPTS at 3-pointers to stretch Grit & Grind out wide with our new 3-point shootings 2-Guard, Josh Hart.😂😂😂
    Beat Memphis Grizzlies even though LeBron James went 0 for 5 at 3-pointers.

      @@therevival9505 Styles make fights. 😂😂😂
      Slower team that doesn't feature 3-point shooters should be sad that Brandon Ingram is injured = trash as a Laker 3-point shooter.
      Lakers will choose this strategy to beat Grit & Grind defense because they cannot retaliate against 41 ATTEMPTS at 3-pointers with their 41 attempts. 😂😂😂
      Memphis Grizzlies aren't about that 3-point shooting life.
      Don't expect LeBron James to go 0 for 5 at 3-pointers next time.
