Could Daenerys even have managed three full grown dragons? Are there any others that rode and cared for multiple dragons? That’s a lot of food and an insane amount of power!
Mouth of Porrima I can’t think of any singular person that has had three dragons at once. Usually it’s one dragon per person and the rest were kept in the Dragon Pit until they had a rider
@@BucketThinkTank14657Nerd Yep, historically it's always been 1 rider per dragon. Once you bond with a dragon it's your dragon, nobody else can ride it & you can't ride another one. If the rider dies first the dragon can take a new rider (for example, Aegon the Conqueror rode Balerion The Black Dread but when he died his son Maegor The Cruel rode it) but if the dragon dies first the rider can't bond with another one.
ViolentMessiah666 and that’s not considering birthing new dragons either. I believe a bonding is one of the main requirements to dragons eggs hatching. If there’s no rider to bond with, the eggs will simply not hatch and eventually petrify as Dany’s eggs were. In the beginning, there were wild dragons, sure. And there’s proof of that from dragon skeletons found in places way beyond the reach of the Valyrian Freehold and even as far as The North of Westeros. But whatever means or methods Valyrian’s used to “tame” dragons, it fundamentally changed a dragons life cycle.
I think that Dany and her dragons are a very different situation from the Targaryen riders that came before - the blood magic involved in hatching the eggs, the dragons drinking her breast milk and such, probably links her to them more deeply than previous Targaryens. Theres even the notion that Drogon has the spirit of Drogo within him
Elliott Calder Central American dragons are more similar to the East Asian dragon being serpant-like and was revered like a deity rather than being feared like European dragons were. Quetzalcóatl is an Aztec god that is a feathered serpent. Like European and Asian dragons, Quetzalcóatl could fly. Quetzalcóatl appears in much of Central American art including their stone pyramids.
I gotta say the whole dragons in general are very inconsistent... One minute I'm being towed a scorpion bolt bounces off of their scales like nothing next thing... A drunk townsman in fore and blood drove a spear through a dragon's back...wait but a scorpion could not generate enough power to do that how can a mere man... idk
Dragons in different fantasy settings are not always as strong as the other, also, smaug was flying and the black arrow hit at a bad angle so it bounced off but teared a scale up, allowing Bard to shoot right in the sweet spot (only because smaug was on the ground, running at him in a straight line)
Flying high in the air, with very thick scales and hit with a scorpion is different than being on the ground where someone can find a weakness in its scales

If you notice he said perhaps it was their fault and not the valyrians fault
4:30 cut to the ending of season 8 :/
Yea, however (granted I hate season 8 a lot) he did say learning and not learned, so her destroying everything probably still happens

Yes she could have. From the books they are pretty devoted to her.

Are they similar to Western style dragons or Eastern/Asian dragons?

Kinda makes you think whether they were actually real or not huh? 😜
@@anonymous_2223 I think there was probably a species of dinosaur back then they called a dragon.
@@anonymous_2223 It was likely the discovery of dinosaur, or other archosaurian bones. But I wish they were real! ):
I really wanted to see Tyrion get his own baby dragon like he always wanted :( Oh well, maybe he'll get one in the books.
