JCI Legazpi Dawani demonstrated exceptional passion and empathy, recognizing the urgent need to support the Mayon evacuees.
Through this project, we have successfully executed a comprehensive health education initiative that has empowered the communities with knowledge, tools, and resources to improve their overall well-being.
We focused on providing health education to the evacuees especially children aged 6-12 years, ensuring that they understand the importance of hygiene practices, oral care, and overall health, which can help transform lives. By equipping these children with essential knowledge and skills, we have empowered them to take control of their health and make informed decisions.
We have not only taught these children how to take care of their physical health but also instilled a sense of dignity, self-confidence, and self-worth.
