I bought my Huawei matepad pro 13.2 about 3 weeks ago with a bit of hesitation due to the price. During the first week, as I was still trying to get accustomed to it, there were days that I wished and pray that it should be worth it. 3 weeks into using it and I am so happy with the purchase as I have come to know most of the features. It is now replacing my depended to my laptop (Macbook air) as I discovered that I can do everything with what I can do using the laptop. Although I still have to learn how to use the WPS as I have been using my office app/subscription seamlessly on this tablet. Everyone who sees it always mistake it for a laptop and are surprised to know it is not. The only hassle though is that the keyboard/case is not enough to protect it from a very bad fall. The pen is also not as sturdy as the apple pencil (mine already got a crack and it broke my heart, but surprisingly, it still works) but it's more like a pencil than the apple pencil (gen 2). And I love the free mouse it comes with although the pencil is enough to use as a mouse. The price tag is more worth it than buying an ipad/ipad air/ipad pro (which I was seriously considering to buy before this one) as you get a lot of freebies. If I buy an ipad pro, aside from being expensive, I stil have to buy a magic keyboard and a pencil (more or less 25k-28k?). Charging it is super fast but I find the charging cable short. Since I use it heavily for work, I need to charge it at least once in the day. Durability is still not determined as of now. I hope it lasts though or else I go back to apple :)

@@axaaachan9100 so my comment was 2 months ago and it has been 4 months since I bought this tablet. Just an update, it is still good and durable. My pencil’s original crack …well it grew/extended but the pencil still works surprisingly well. Even though I already bought a replacement for it just in case it totally becomes unusable, I bought a silicon case for the pencil and it worked wonders. It became thicker, but you can honestly feel that it is now more protected. As for the bug, @user-li3ve9uu4e, how do we make huawei fix it? I agree that the mouse has limited function that I thought the reason for it is so that we get to still need the pencil for some functions.
Huawei is fighting for their life. and still they are this competitive. what if the ban was not there. it is the number one brand by now which they were almost closer
When it comes to innovation huawei has have to offer if only there not sanction by the USA and the google. actually they are the competitor of samsung and iPhone and when it comes to the question if its worth it it does and functionality wise it gives more than what you need. huawei knows what really the mass consumer need..and Google is not a problem..more power to huawei.they don't rely on the others even they've been sanction not using the 5g.they make there own way.
I believe in your statement and also Huawei have some other ways to provide these devices regardless of Google absence and they still outperform other competitors.
In India, you can get the Galaxy Tab S9+ 256Gig version between 53k-60k, depending on what offers you use, it's a steal of a deal if you're not into Apple which i am, and still ordered the S9+ for 53k. INR of course. Good review, i felt a tiny bit biased towards Huawei, but hey, if you like it more, then it is what it is.
Huawei Matepad has thicker bezels than Samsung Tab S9 ans S9+. Huawei Matepad Pro has thinner bezels than Samsung Tab S9 and S9+. Samsung Tab S9 Ultra is the largest tablet screen in tbe world and slimmest bezel also. So compare like educated people and talk like one.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 + has 84.3% screen-to-body ratio. Feel educated enough now ? Now look again at what the video compares.

Samsung S9 Ultra has 14.6 inch screen at 91% screen to body ration where the smaller Huawei Matepad Pro has 13.2 inch screen size but a higher 94% screen to body ratio. The S9 Ultra has a slimmer bezel but due to the bigger screen the screen ratio is less. The video made a comparison as if between iPhone 15 pro max and Samsung Galaxy S24 or like between Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 15. A smallest size of a series vs the biggest of the series.

They should have Desktop mode. I mean, I don't know about this tablet, but Huawei has Desktop mode for quite a few years now, just like Honor. It's the same as DEX.
no need for desktop mode in harmony OS4 since multi app windows are now resizeable and can be placed anywhere on the screen as long as the app publisher allows it. what specific "desktop mode" features in DEX which are useful?

Try using them for months. I used the MatePad Pro of 2019. I loved it, but it lacks some features that the Galaxy Tab has to offer. I now have the Tab S9, and I can say that there's not much difference except for Google services, which are essential for me and my other Samsung devices.
