  • We wanted our kids to have a better understanding of the true meaning of Christmas and include Christ in our Christmas traditions a lot more. So this year we made some changes to our decorations, stories, and activities to make that happen.

    This was so beautiful I truly enjoyed listening to you and reminding all of us the meaning of Christmas. This was so special for your family. I know I'm watching this and it's been 2 years since you posted it but wanted to let you know I just found your channel today and I have gone back and watched all four years and continuing it on to the current video. I hope you continue this on because I truly enjoy watching your videos and what a great mom you are. Thank you for sharing.

    Thank you so much for reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas! I will definitely use some of your ideas to help us bring Christ into Christmas this year and all the years to come. It is very important that us as parents teach our children the real meaning of Christmas. If we don’t do it, nobody else will. Thank you!!!!!! Merry Christmas!

      Real knowledge and wisdom the truth is christmas has nothing to do with jesus christ but in fact is ancient babylonian holiday known as saturnalia, Bratunalia fact jesus was not born nowhere near dec 25th this day has been celebrated for thousands years as day to pay homage to nimrod,Baal, molech as a form of sun worshipping this day was given the title Christmas by the Roman Catholic Church AKA mother whore of Babylon there is do much proof and evidence and scripture tells us truth about Christmas being a pagan holiday Christian's are not supposed to participate in the book of Jeremiah if one wants to honor the father of heaven and his son our savior we are not supposed to participate in pagan holidays and traditions of men but he says to keep his Sabbath day holy which is in fact Saturday the seventh day of the week not Sunday which was also changed by the mother harlot AKA Roman Catholic Church by Emperor Constantine in order to please pagans and convert them to Christianity and in fact the Bible prophesized these things would occur that Antichrist would seek to do away with his sabbath and change dates and times in order to create deception and blasphemy I urge everyone to do their own research the devil has deceived the whole world and it is time for us to wake up

    I've never seen anyone "celebrate" the tree of the knowledge of good and evil for Christmas.

    • @flipperdip4009
      @flipperdip4009 3 роки тому +2

      It’s less of a celebration, more of an object lesson of the differences between the trees and between heaven and earth. The tree of knowledge was not bad, and although Adam and Eve transgressed, it was still part of God’s plan and it’s a blessing that they learned the differences between good and evil.

    After a lot of studying and researching things, my husband and I discovered the reason we had been struggling so much with Christ not being in Christmas. The reason is because this holiday wasn’t really about Jesus at all. It was a pagan holiday that the Catholic Church converted to a Christian holiday to try to convert people. The Christmas tree actually has to do with Tammuz, a false God. There is a channel called Truth Unedited and he explains it very well. Now, a wonderful winter holiday that Jesus actually celebrated is Hanukkah and there’s no reason that Christians can’t celebrate it. I would highly recommend that you look into that. We stopped celebrating Christmas all together after learning all of this. No matter how much we try to put Jesus on Christmas, it never was a Christian holiday. I know it’s hard to let go of.

      @Amber - I came across a lot of that information, too, when I researched. I now belong to a Messianic congregation and it has been life changing. There's a program called Torah Club by First Fruits of Zion to learn more.

    Latter day saints?

  • @missl849
    @missl849 3 роки тому +7

    Christmas is not a Christian Holiday. Its the Scottish Yule Holy Day which was celebrated by "pagans". The tree, Santa Claus, the gifts, the lights, all originated in the Yule Celebration. The only authethically Christian sentiment is the name. If the bible is our guide to being Christian, what does it say about these sort of celebrations and how do we pull ourselves away from these traditions and into biblical based traditions?
    God Bless

    • @alldoneup
      @alldoneup 3 роки тому +4

      The Bible is not our only guide. The Holy Bible was put together by the authority of the Catholic Church, given to it by Jesus, Himself. Jesus instituted a church to carry on his teachings and the message of salvation.

    • @missl849
      @missl849 3 роки тому +4

      The Catholic church or Christ's disciples? Jesus commanded his disciples not to break off into denominations. If we as Christians are not following the bible what are we following? Where else can you learn about the teachings of Christ? Obviously we are all flawed and perfection is unattainable. It would be nice to celebrate more biblically based holidays and raise those up "Christian Holidays".

    • @kristinesharp6286
      @kristinesharp6286 3 роки тому +2

      @@missl849 who decided the books that would make up the Bible? Who translated them by hand through the centuries from its original languages into modern languages? The Catholic and orthodox churches have broken up the Bible into the liturgical year so that the faithful will have read the Bible if they do the daily readings and gospel or get through it in 3 years if only on Sunday. Jesus was given gifts on little Christmas from the 3 wise men. The orthodox give gifts. Jesus lived as a devout jewish person so observed Passover. Why don’t Christian’s do that? Lots in the Bible Christians do not do. Jesus left us Peter. Upon this rock I will build my church. If you like to interpret that differently be my guest. But the command was for Peter to lead and us to follow and since Jesus gave the keys to Peter they have been passed down Pope to Pope uninterrupted. I do not understand JW, which I imagine you might be. Some churches really are excited about Pentecost, others Palm Sunday through passion and Easter. Some observe some special instance every day of the year. The scripture where Mary is asked to be Jesus mother is 9 months before Christmas. Palm Sunday and Easter are around Passover. Hard with various calendars. Advent passages were chosen to be read at a different time in the church year. It makes sense every day the same readings proclaimed no matter which church you go to. On vacation, visiting mom, home... all the same no matter which church you go to. It’s not the same 70 prosperity passages, or the half dozen passages meant to explain a new idea called rapture. There is a Torah portion according to a schedule. The tree was a German decoration. The stocking and tree are not about Jesus, the nativity and advent wreath are. The stockings and tree are about selfless giving to strangers and in a way consumerism in moderation. Most parents say perhaps for Christmas when asked for something they want.

    I find some things you said very inconsistent with scripture (the apostles descended down behind Jesus?, Paul was not the 12th dedicated apostle it was Matthias, what is the golden road to heaven? etc.) Also many Christmas traditions originated from pagan roots. Very curious where you got your info from. I am glad you want to honor Christ in your home but please be careful what you teach your kids and other people on here.

      I think she’s LDS (based on a lot of things she said) which is why it’s not at all consistent with scripture. The LDS religion isn’t based on the Bible (it actually contradicts it a lot) - it’s based on Joseph Smith’s “revelations” in the Book of Mormon. The LDS website explicitly says the Bible contains errors which is why they believe the Book of Mormon was written. They intentionally try to blur the lines to make it seem Christian, but it’s definitely not!

      Mormons believe in a different gospel and a different Christ. That's who they are. They don't have the Holy Spirit as their guide into all truth. They are a false religion. She looks like a shiny light yet she walks in darkness. Pray she finds the real Jesus. Right now he's just a picture on the wall. The great deception.
