I had EVAP codes and after replacing the purge valve and then the charcoal box, I dropped the tank and saw that my fuel filter assembly cap was cracked right apart. No codes after replacing that. It's better to take it all apart and inspect the system before throwing parts at it guys.

@@CyberBrySkyNet After taking the car to a reliable shop they discovered a broken wire .. it was bypassed with a new wire and everything is good now..best part it was a cheap fix thanks to a good mechanic.

@@htowner1327 the code should drop off after 100 miles if there is another problem the check engine lite will still be on but will be a different code

@@luispenick7448 You have to drop the engine to get to it. Its up by the firewall, behind the passenger seat on the engine.... If you lift the car you can see it. or cut a hole in the firewall behind the passenger seat..... See if you see atmospheric pressure reading on the sensor before taking that sensor on

@@MrMr123 do you think I could get to it just by taking one engine mount on the right side of the car by the alternator or do I need to take all three off

@@luispenick7448 I think you should hook up an OBD2 scan tool and see if it reads 14.7 psi
Which is atmospheric pressure with the car off
If it sees that number, sensor is fine.
From the front looking back
Sensor is about 6-8” to the right of the alternator under a bunch of ac coolant lines
You have to drop the 4 bolts that hold the motor
