My 12’ 451 had this issue. Took it to the shop and they said it’s egr issue. Took it all apart and that wasn’t what it was. $149 and a 2 days worth of work gone. Ordered and pcv valve after watching your video and just got it installed this morning and works beautifully. I couldn’t find any all thread rod to make lowering bolt so I just took them all out and threaded them back in a few turns to lower the engine enough to get the air box out. Got it all reassembled and fired her up and burned off the smoke and good to go! Excellent video and tutorial.

I think I am having this exact same problem when I start up my car it has a big poof of white smoke and then it disappears and then smoke comes out like that in the video and I got no bubbles in coolant and my oil is burning/disappearing...

Question!!! My smart is smoking so bad!! How much smoke is reasonable?

I think your voltage and current sensing works wrong. Voltage above 26,5v? Original tali doesn’t have current sensing pin just voltage sensing and uses different sensing voltage (not sure but could be 6,6v with divider 1volt/5) and theres no current wire on PDB. Maybe you already solved it. But if you measure v on white cable on full battery you get about 4,7v and on red one 5+ volts. So red is your BEC voltage to power FC and white is voltage sensing and to use it in pixhawk you have to connect it to 6,6v port instead power port. And than change input in voltage monitoring to that input and turn off current sensing or use pixhawk 6S power module insteed.

If you meassure voltage between the red and black cable from Tali H-500-Z-18 Powerboard you will find constant about 5V. Then I dont understand how the Pixhawk can use this for voltage sensing from the 6S. If you meassure between white and black you will have approx 4.8v when 6S is about 25v and 4.35v when 6S is about 23v. I believe the constant 5v red cable is for powering the Devention controller FCS H-500 and the white for voltage sensing. Is it possible to meassure the Amps on a Walkera Tali h-500? Can you Please describe your setup of the Pixhawk battery monitor also. I cannot get this to work. Great videos James. I tried to contact on mail but did not have answer yet. Tnx.
