The start of their romance was good and more provoking like the train scene or first kiss, its just it lost its shine with the whole second lead coming in since he was main focus then. I just wish the main one was made more interesting aswell or atleats more romance so it might shift back to the spotlight. I feel like theres something gone wrong in the plot if the second lead has more impact than the actual pairing as much as i loved the main guy.
@@kalliskivike well, I get your point, and for my OWN POINT OF VIEW there's no lacking about the main leads storyline, it's good actually, it's just really people find them (others) lacking because we often see lovey dovey scenes from the main leads in k-drama, but my point of view is my point view, and after all, I loved more the second lead, and their storyline but still the main lead work their ass off to be fited in their own storyline, both story line is amazing, but yeah, I agree, the second really gives more, but even with that, let's still appreciate they're chemistry (the main leads) all of them did a great job.

Their romance was so beautiful that it can’t be expressed in words. Even without touching or kissing each other a lot, both of them expressed their affections for each other in beautiful ways. They always had each other’s backs and bickered constantly, which was their way of showing each other their love. They are the best couple I’ve seen yet and will remain on top of that list even after I watch every Kdrama there is out there
And their unconditional love for each other, especially Chansung who was willing to sacrifice a lifetime never being with her, the one left behind 😢. No one can beat Chansung for me in terms of expressing how much he loved Man wol. He saw who she was, saw the evil she did but accepted and loved her still the same. Now that's true love.
Manchan is honestly the best couple for me. Like their love was not extravagant, steamy nor showy. Their love was silent but full of understanding on both sides that no words were needed to know their each other's feelings. No multiple kissing scenes were needed to show how much they love each other but the simple act of a hug and especially the holding hands made my heart flutter than any other kissing scenes out there.
Some won't like my opinion but i really hate season 2. I like kdramas because most of them are short such as 16 hrs to 20 only without season but i respect your opinion. Instead of season, i want another kdrama as good and as short as this and a lot will come so i don't worry.
I don't understand why would Netflix do that. If they did that in the past, I wouldn't like it, it's ridiculous because Kdrama ost's deliver the message and atmosphere of the drama. If you look into the lyrics, it's really talks about the story and if you can't understand it, the tone tells it. I'm not using Netflix.
I am Chan Seong Team since the start till the end. Yes it's true that Chung Myung's story was heart-breaking, I pity him because he had to wait for 1300 years for Man Wol, but you can't underestimate Chan Seong's love for Man Wol either. He is handsome, smart, basically he has everything. But he chose to stay by her side, he prevented her to do anything rash, he protected her, helped her to overcome her grudges, and waited for her when she escorted Chung Myung to afterlife. He loved her as much as Chung Myung. I believe that past stayed in the past. And Man Wol chose Chan Seong over Chung Myung.

Right?!? Yeo Jingoo didn't get a single nomination either, despite the fact that their sheer chemistry literally made this drama so amazing. Korean awards tend to struggle to reward "idol" actors (actors that branch over from singing/dancing/music) and younger actors (that branch over from their youth) for their achievements. The assumption that exists is that "idols" can't act, and that child actors are still children in the industry's eyes, so while they got/will get a lot of attention for being popular/new, they don't get acknowledged for their maturity until they're older. For the industry, they have a hard time shaking off first impressions, and they will take some time to come to recognise these two amazing young people as really A-class actors in their own rights. Let's hope they don't take too long. IU and Yeo Jin Goo deserved so much more for the impeccable work they put into this show.

I watched Coz of iu. But I most definetly stayed because of gu chan song. I love him. His acting. The crying scene ripped my heart out. I didn't like his visual as much at the start. His character felt boring But my gosh. He got me hooked. He is a real man. And so handsome😭

I don’t know why people in Korea are not convinced by IU’s acting. I personally knew her in Hotel Del Luna and I really liked her acting. I did not understand why this drama had no awards. People are just telling IU to go sing instead of shooting dramas because it sucks. Only I do not agree. Thanks to her in Hotel Del Luna I could feel everything she felt. His hatred his pain his sadness his love. Hotel Del Luna was a very beautiful drama. Impeccable script level / Set / special effects / actor / director ... I really liked the special effects in this drama.

I know I'm late in the game but damn I became a fan of these two since their acting was so convincing, to the point majority of their scenes where beautiful. Ive seen Yeo Jin-Goo in crowned clown and Hotel De Luna solidified my admiration to this guys acting capability. Then Lee Jie-eun also caught me off guard with her performance that anytime i see them together on screen, I get totally sold by the level of chemistry they have together.
I love the part where they all think he's dead and came to the hotel as a ghost, and Jang wanted to kill the bell hop. God damn, that shit was funny. I must have rewound that scene at least 5 or 6 times. And the hostess started hitting Koo for scaring her so bad.
In my more than a decade of watching kdramas, I must say that this has the most unique storyline. I have read a lot of books about reincarnation and time travels and this is 90% accurate. I'm glad I gave this a try :)

I like how the last episode was really sad but the ending was up to is to decide. Either you this they were all reincarnated and manwol and chan seong are still together or it's what chan seong imagines. The entire show was really mature and simple. I loved it!

It must be so exciting for new fans of IU who discovered her through acting. There is just so much content for you all to catch up on. I will just say though, you will learn so much about her through her music. Back in 2010 I always saw IU's videos in my suggested list but always decided to hold back on checking her out as an idol. I was a huge 2PM at the time, mainly one of the members so when I watched Dream High and the second "Pilsuk" sang in her audition I completely was captivated. My ultimate bias was found that day. I was more acquainted with her through the drama but it was her singing that drove me in and from the beginning, since then, I always supported her acting career along side her musical career.
This drama is one of my favorites. I can watch it over and over again. The story, the actors, the outfits and everything about this drama is perfect.The Kim Soo Hyun cameo is the best. That last scene is legendary. I wish there was a season 2 of this drama ❤
I tried to move on with this drama but I was pulled back with this video in my recommendation, I really liked their bickering, I liked how koo chan sung tamed every act of man-woel in a chill and logical way with his poker face that made man woel annoyed. I always love the part where jang man woel calls "koo chan sung" name it has a unique tone and not only in dramas, irl I also like when iu call yeo jin goo’s name like "jin goo-ya ~" it has a cute tone (you can see on house on the wheels) And I also always love the scene where when man woel forces koo chan sung in anything kcs like "no, thanks" while raising his hand like stop jmw and I like his voice, I can hear his voice all day without feeling bored

I don’t know if people will agree with me or not, but I actually am satisfied with the ending. It’s not really a ‘happy’ ending where they both end up together, but if you think about it, both of their ultimate happiness would not have come from being able to be together. Chansung had always wanted for Malwol to be liberated and Manwol knew, she couldn’t stay. This reality was not hers. Ever since the beginning of the drama, he had promised Manwol that he wants nothing more than for Manwol to finally be free from the curse bestowed upon her. He knew that for her, staying in this reality was probably the biggest and harshest punishment. She had to leave. So obviously, the ending did make me cry buckets of tears, but deep down inside my heart, I felt a certain relief. Both of their wishes were fulfilled. Chansung had always wanted Manwol to be free, and she finally was.

I am Chan Seong Team since the start till the end. Yes it's true that Chung Myung's story was heart-breaking, I pity him because he had to wait for 1300 years for Man Wol, but you can't underestimate Chan Seong's love for Man Wol either. He is handsome, smart, basically he has everything. But he chose to stay by her side, he prevented her to do anything rash, he protected her, helped her to overcome her grudges, and waited for her when she escorted Chung Myung to afterlife. He loved her as much as Chung Myung. I believe that past stayed in the past. And Man Wol chose Chan Seong over Chung Myung.

Korean awards tend to struggle to reward "idol" actors (actors that branch over from singing/dancing/music) and younger actors (that branch over from their youth) for their achievements. The assumption that exists is that "idols" can't act, and that child actors are still children in the industry's eyes, so while they got/will get a lot of attention for being popular/new, they don't get acknowledged for their maturity until they're older. For the industry, they have a hard time shaking off first impressions, and they will take some time to come to recognise these two amazing young people as really A-class actors in their own rights. Let's hope they don't take too long. IU and Yeo Jin Goo deserved so much more for the impeccable work they put into this show.

I still get over this drama and manchan couple😂😂iu and yeo jin goo's acting and chemistry was on point. I watched Coz of iu. But I most definetly stayed because of gu chan song. I love him. His acting. The crying scene ripped my heart out. I didn't like his visual as much at the start. His character felt boring

I don’t know why people in Korea are not convinced by IU’s acting. I personally knew her in Hotel Del Luna and I really liked her acting. I did not understand why this drama had no awards. People are just telling IU to go sing instead of shooting dramas because it sucks. Only I do not agree. Thanks to her in Hotel Del Luna I could feel everything she felt. His hatred his pain his sadness his love. Hotel Del Luna was a very beautiful drama. Impeccable script level / Set / special effects / actor / director ... I really liked the special effects in this drama.

I know I'm late in the game but damn I became a fan of these two since their acting was so convincing, to the point majority of their scenes where beautiful.
Ive seen Yeo Jin-Goo in crowned clown and Hotel De Luna solidified my admiration to this guys acting capability.
Then Lee Jie-eun also caught me off guard with her performance that anytime i see them together on screen, I get totally sold by the level of chemistry they have together.

I love the part where they all think he's dead and came to the hotel as a ghost, and Jang wanted to kill the bell hop. God damn, that shit was funny. I must have rewound that scene at least 5 or 6 times. And the hostess started hitting Koo for scaring her so bad.
In my more than a decade of watching kdramas, I must say that this has the most unique storyline. I have read a lot of books about reincarnation and time travels and this is 90% accurate. I'm glad I gave this a try :)

It must be so exciting for new fans of IU who discovered her through acting. There is just so much content for you all to catch up on. I will just say though, you will learn so much about her through her music. Back in 2010 I always saw IU's videos in my suggested list but always decided to hold back on checking her out as an idol. I was a huge 2PM at the time, mainly one of the members so when I watched Dream High and the second "Pilsuk" sang in her audition I completely was captivated. My ultimate bias was found that day. I was more acquainted with her through the drama but it was her singing that drove me in and from the beginning, since then, I always supported her acting career along side her musical career.
IU is the reason i watched this drama but i ended up falling for yeo jin goo + IU of course
This drama is one of my favorites. I can watch it over and over again. The story, the actors, the outfits and everything about this drama is perfect.The Kim Soo Hyun cameo is the best. That last scene is legendary. I wish there was a season 2 of this drama ❤
I tried to move on with this drama but I was pulled back with this video in my recommendation, I really liked their bickering, I liked how koo chan sung tamed every act of man-woel in a chill and logical way with his poker face that made man woel annoyed.
I always love the part where jang man woel calls "koo chan sung" name it has a unique tone and not only in dramas, irl I also like when iu call yeo jin goo’s name like "jin goo-ya ~" it has a cute tone (you can see on house on the wheels)
And I also always love the scene where when man woel forces koo chan sung in anything kcs like "no, thanks" while raising his hand like stop jmw and I like his voice, I can hear his voice all day without feeling bored

I don’t know if people will agree with me or not, but I actually am satisfied with the ending. It’s not really a ‘happy’ ending where they both end up together, but if you think about it, both of their ultimate happiness would not have come from being able to be together. Chansung had always wanted for Malwol to be liberated and Manwol knew, she couldn’t stay. This reality was not hers. Ever since the beginning of the drama, he had promised Manwol that he wants nothing more than for Manwol to finally be free from the curse bestowed upon her. He knew that for her, staying in this reality was probably the biggest and harshest punishment. She had to leave. So obviously, the ending did make me cry buckets of tears, but deep down inside my heart, I felt a certain relief. Both of their wishes were fulfilled. Chansung had always wanted Manwol to be free, and she finally was.
The most bitter sweet drama ever. Heartbreaking and yet fulfilling.
