It was. The only other since is St. Mary's Bay Jefferstone Lane crossing

Did they decide to upgrade this crossing or did they have to do it because it was forced by someone/some company?

My best guess is that these were donated replacements for very weathered predecessors (may have also been due to damage), but don't quote me on that.
