This initiation ritual was brutal to say the least. The gentleman somehow navigated through it though with flying colors, and perhaps a bit of body buzz as well.
So I've binged basically this entire channel in a couple months, and the increase in production value over the years is wild to see in such a compressed time frame. Like somehow you all look better today than you did in the beginning. Kudos to whoever set the lights on this one.

before i watched your videos my wallet liked me alot more. i would have never guessed i would like ardbeg as much as i do. still havent tried most of what has been covered on this channel but maybe eventually. only have a 35 bottle collection right now.
also have you thought about giving brianna a blind. if she picks the one out she wins something. if not she gets a punishment. would be fun. just dont tell her it was my idea. lol
Smart move getting a dude who seems to have done a bit of growing before getting into distilling. There might be some interesting mashups in the future if weed is legal in TX. Perhaps a new "botanical" for a future gin batch.
I’m not sure I’d fare too well on this test. My personal preferences are generally much more for bourbons and ryes than for single malts.

The only whiskey I've drunk out of the six is the Ardbeg Uigeadail, and I loved it.

of Whiskys I've had, I'd go between Glenfiddich 15 or 18 year old, with strong showings from Wild Turkey 101, Laphroaig 10, Jameson Black Barrel and Glenfiddich 12. Currently drinking a bottle of Glenfiddich Special Reserve Single Malt and waiting on a bottle of Glendalough Double Cask in the post.
I used to do competitive brisket smoking. I LOVE the smell of bbq smoke. I can't stand peated scotch or Latakia pipe tobacco. I guess it kind of tastes like sub par bark to me.
I wonder if it is possible to infuse whiskey with cbd ? hmmmm

Hey Pena, I hail from Vancouver Island, Bc Canada.. If you ever come up this side of the border, first off, "herb" is legal country wide, and my province has been banned from the Amsterdam "herb" Games since the 90s because we never lose.
PLUS in Victoria BC, we have MACALONEY'S ISLAND DISTILLERY & TWA DOGS BREWERY.
IMO MaCaloney's has the best Scotch Whiskey this side of Scotland.

Augusta Buckners 13 is amazing. It should be priced at 199.99. Even though that's still steep, I think it's definitely worth it. I have been a fan since it first came out, however, with it just winning the best bourbon in the world, prices have jumped. Hopefully they come back down to earth, because they really do release some excellent products!
