I just received my IcePlate Curve and eager to try it out here in the Sonoran Desert. I run 5-6x per week during lunch over the summer months with temperatures ranging from 100F to 118F. Man, this is going to feel good. Nicely done! This may make a handful of appearances on my channel. Keep up the great work and thanks for the product innovation.

Awe crap, I just adjusted my Crye SPC (I'm small and had to overlap the cumberbun, pain in the rear), and now I see this, welp, looks like more weaving for me, lol. Genius product!!! Especially for us FL guys!

I hooked my ice plate into the top molle slip on the rear of my Crye JPC 2.0. I think that might work better because my shoulder strap won't get tangled up with it.
Just got mine 1 week ago and it's amazing. Slim profile and lightweight..I'm never going back to Camelback.

Airsofter here just picked mine up today and I'm honestly fairly impressed with every aspect of this the angled bottom to route water to the drinking tube, the rigidity in the center The ability for the tube to be used with water bottles there's just a lot of really clever and smart product design going on here! I also don't Really need real ballistic plates In my Airsoft PC's So I was wondering if it was a good idea to use it inside the actual plate compartment or if that would cut off too much cooling?
Our company is all about empowering end-users with optionality, so you can run IcePlate either way! The level of insulation will depend on the specific make/model of your carrier, materials used, and the construction methods. Any PC with SpacerMesh will be problematic as SpacerMesh is basically insulation. We share our thoughts and experiences with SpacerMesh here:

hmm my kit didnt come with the safety attachment for the quick connect.. and a clear tube, not covered. rest is same. Used it on 2 ops so far, loving it.

Question ,how about the small valvule the is in the top of the ice plate ,I put the straps and the small valvule come out and now is a hole and I can’t put that small valvule back on?

Lost the bite valve on my tube at my last class, luckily one of the guys found it. Gonns tape it from now on. Unscented denture tablets are a cheap way to clean these.

Will these fin in a small swimmers cut JPC 2 ?

Do these support regular drinking tubes? I have some old camelbak drinking tubes that are reinforced and I kinda wanna use those instead.

The side cuts were originally intended for extra security when using the IcePlate in conjunction with armor straps.

Can I use this with practically any backpack?
If using the included Side Release Armor Straps with IcePlate Curve, then yes. IcePlate Classic, however, can be used with just about any backpack with an internal pocket that is at least 10" wide. Add'l details:

Hmm, will these be coming in different sizes? I'm a small guy and slightly worried about them being too big.
We have plans for larger sizes, but we don't have any plans for smaller sizes. That said, 80% of the population wears a size Medium PC/armor plate. As a smaller guy myself, I have found the data is pretty accurate and a Medium is the perfect size for me. Here is an article from our IceAge Insights blog with more details on plate carrier sizing:

Also what's the point of the freezer cap if it doesn't let the air out?
Freezers and freezer space come in all shapes and sizes. Not every freezer can accommodate IcePlate in every orientation.

I really like the idea, but when I took it out to the field a month ago I was having a ton of leaking problems from where the hose meets the ice plate. Looking at the hose it looks like there's a spot for an o-ring, but there wasn't one. I made one out of electrical tape and that stopped the leaking problem, but then drinking water created a vacuum in the plate that collapsed it. Kinda dissapointed.

It was just missing an o-ring. I was able to get an extra one from my buddy who has a source hydration kit. Small oversight by Qore to miss the o-ring which kind of sucks, but other than that the ice plate's been treating me well now.
How are you supposed to use this in war? When you are in muddy trenches without the possibility of maintaining it 😂
If you are in trench warfare, you have bigger problems to solve than the simple problem of maintaining your water source.
