I have test driven just about every EV that is available. I ended up purchasing this car and at 6k miles I am really still impressed with the car. It is extremely comfortable and no Tesla stands up to it at this juncture. The price point compared to a Tesla is laughable for what you get. And it is unique. Not saying it is the best thing since sliced bread but I guarantee it is a solid and undeniable dream to drive.
Same here. I love it. It's super comfortable and quiet, enough range that I don't care. Charges really fast plus the dealer really wanted me to get it so I paid the same as I would have paid for a Tesla. Oh yeah, built better too.
I own a First Edition Ioniq 6 for 15 months now. Here in Germany, we have a dense grid of HPCs, so I get to enjoy the fast charging capabilities, whenever I like. The car has plenty of space inside, is very quiet, and drives like a charm. I love the design, and I'm very happy with the car.
I drove one of those over the weekend. It's a solid car that is quite comfortable. It also satisfies two main concerns ev drivers have; it travels long distances on a single charge and recharges faster than most. In my opinion, it's tough to beat if you can get past the way it looks. It's grown on me and the price made that even easier. Really good review.
I LOVE the blindspot cameras on this car, excellent feature for me. I miss it every time I drive a vehicle that doesn't have it. I feel like it allows me to be far more agile and effective especially on the expressway. The blind spot indicator lights are nice and this car has those too but the camera gives you 100% confidence which is amazing and you don't even have to turn your head.
I am not a huge fan of the exterior design, but i REALLY like that they have physical buttons for basic controls and also a better position for the speedometer imo
Kia, Hyundai are the best EV brands out there right now. Lots of car options and good technical features and efficiency. Compare to Tesla which has only had 1 new car design release in 7 years. Not counting the cyber truck clown car.
I love my Ioniq 6, but I will admit I think it looks good only in black and digital green. I feel the lighter colors don't enhance the car's shape. Just my opinion.
I've own this model since Jan 2024. Love the look, you will not see one every mile. It's an eye catcher!! I get compliments all the time. Also I blow the doors of Dodge Chargers, Mustangs, BMW and Mercedes. Just too quick off the line. They only catch me when I back off at a 100mph. Safety first I love all the safety features you get as standard equipment. I've driven almost every top end car out there. This car hugs the road.🎉
I LOOOOOVVVEEE my ioniq 6. One of the best cars I have ever driven. My wife has a model 3 and she regrets getting it. When the lease is over, she is definitely jumping ship.
I owned a Tesla Model 3 for the last 6 years and just sold it to buy a 2025 Ioniq 6. The ride of this Hyundai is so superior to my Tesla. There is no wind noise and the ride is not bumpy and rough like the Tesla. I like the physical controls instead of just the touchscreen on a Tesla. I do not miss my Tesla at all and I am really glad for my purchase.
Admittedly, it’s more natural for me to look side mirror then blind spot with a head turn, but If you’re not willing to glance at your instruments before you look at your side mirror, how likely is it that you’re willing to twist your head and look at your blind spots through the side glass? To go even further, the number of times I see people changing lanes without looking at all freaks me out. Are they using just their peripheral vision, relying on their good luck, trusting in the force?

Dude 100 percent agree, same experience here. This is a phenomenal vehicle.
I bought mine a month ago and love it! Glad to hear your positive experience!

Thinking of leasing one
Plus you get free child slavry thrown in for the EV batteries.
Those Cobalt mines aren't going to dig themselves.

The styling is ahead of its time. That slick drag number doesn't lie. I guess that explains why Buick still has customers.
Best lease deal . $200 / mo 36 mo. $3500 down for rear wheel drive. . Cheaper than my cell phone plan
You pay more than $200/mo for a phone?!?
My business phone plan is $175 and that's 6 phones.

Really good review.

So why are you driving another vehicle if you can just drive the Ioniq 6 lol??

Great review. You’re an excellent and very easy to understand speaker. The pace of your speech is perfect.
Real design skill in this car. Love it.
I like the style of it. Reminds me of an Infiniti J30, which I really liked back in the day when I was a teenager.

I like the styling
Same. Looks way better in darker colors since it blends in all of the black trim design.
I think it's a great looking car...not ready to go full electric yet.

Just your opinion, indeed. Driving a Nocturne Grey (Dark Grey) I must admit it looks better in Red colour. My opinion.
Do the brake lights come on when decelerating in i-pedal mode?
The looks remind me of the Infiniti J30. Love how it stands out!
It’s been a great EV for the last 4 months. I ended up leasing it. Great car

Nice looking vehicle. Considering the long wheelbase, don’t understand why they could not have made a larger trunk. Oh well.

I have the ioniq5 and it's the best car I have ever owned, after the Audi q7 limited trim it means a lot !
Nice vid bro 👍🏼
Imagine choosing a Tesla over this? 😂
I just wish the Ioniq 6 was a lift back AND had wider fenders especially on the back for a sportier/ closer to the Prophecy design.

That rear end looks ( I can’t find a word to describe it).
Like a dog taking a crap
I found it for you! Odd.
@@bafattvahetere you know when a dog goes poop and angles their body in a certain way? It’s that.
As with the Model 3, i wish both Model 3 and Ioniq 6 have a sport wagon version! 😮💨
I actually love the way it looks. I don’t like ionic 5’s look. It looks funky like you said.
IIRC the body is derived from the porche 911. So it's got a midcentury sports car look.

Awesome this car
Great reviewer! I can’t wait until Hyundai puts out electric versions. Still don’t know why they didn’t make this a hatchback.
i’m assuming coz they wanted it to be as efficient as possible and this was the best shape
@@johnnyrighteous could be.
I thought the Ford Tourus wasn't made anymore?
This guy clearly doesn’t like the look. To me it looks like a classic modern Porsche sedan something about it is so sweet to me
I liked it. The front looks like a Tesla and the back looks like a Porsche.
i preform getting new 2024 Hyundai ioniq 5 limited instead bigger space for my drum set and my bike and for drag race

Hyundai has gotten to the point where they just do too much with their styling ... some designs are too dramatic
Aerodynamics mainly. Then they need to separate it from the Prius and Teslas.
