I always play with the trident laser shotgun, could you tell me whats the advantage that the standard shotgun provides? I got them both maxed out and i cant see a reason for using the standard one when the trident has infinite ammo.
I'd always go with the Trident for reasons you mentioned. Trident is great for clearing out patrols on non-retaliatory strikes. The Sickle is also a good option for this, meanwhile the Tanto is great for close-ranged bugs elimination. For retaliatory strikes, my order or preference for laser weapons is as follows: Tanto > Trident > Sickle. Pair that with Tox or Rumbler then you're good to go! Good luck!
Hey there! Not at all! I'd even wager that it's part of the fun gameplay. Dropping on someone not your team mates (boss bugs and borgs) are equally effective! Also don't forget to use your re-supply drops as offensive strategem. Rail gun a charger, call in ammo and hope it falls onto the stunned enemy.
