Thank you for that thorough identification with the pictures from different times in the season. I enjoy feeling confident that I have the correct name for that plant growing at the edge of my garden.
Is it edible, would you please start your videos about any plant on whether it’s edible or not, poisonous to ingest or not .... I’m not sure. Thank you 🙏
I think by Indian Tobacco , but I'm not sure ... but it's possible this is what you would dry and cure and SMOKE , as in your pipe or make cigarettes or cigars out of but I could be wrong .
Hello. Would you happen to know where I could get seeds for this plant? I take this plant on rare occasions when I have breathing difficulty. I would just like to be able to grow it. It is a very powerful medicine. I am amazed that the plant is not recognized in western medicine. If you could take time to reply out of your busy day if you know how to obtain the plant I would appreciate it. I live in Southern Illinois, so it should grow here. Thanks. Jon
Thank you for that info it's a shame she never replied and I'm going to have to research it more because I assumed it was basically tobacco as in what you would cure and smoke in a pipe or make cigarettes and /or cigars out of ? ... can you please tell us how you take it as a medicinal ? Do you make a tea out of it ?
I have only purchased it commercially thru Natures Sunshine. They are very particular with the herbs that they purchase. I’ve heard it said that they would rather run out of a product than produce an inferior one. I took it in a capsule. I believe there are other ways to take it. It just says Lobelia on the bottle by Natures Sunshine. Good luck!
I very much appreciate this series of plant descriptions and have probably viewed them all many times. However it often happens that botanical terms are used incorrectly. In this video alone, the word "stalk" is often used instead of "stem". The word "peduncle" is spoken (and even used as a label) instead of the word "petiole". In other videos "pedicel" is confused with "peduncle" and botanical terms are pronounced unconventionally. I hope that someday somebody corrects these inaccuracies so that we can put our total trust these otherwise wonderful presentations.
@@IdentifyThatPlant I'm assuming this is what is tobacco the kind people can cure and smoke and a pipe or making two cigarettes and or cigars ? It would mean a lot to me if you could answer this question as I believe I have seen this growing around here in the north Texas area
Here in America we rarely referred to plants as him or her we would call it it ... one would ask what is its name ... not what is HER name . Just thought you might be interested in knowing that as it helps people to understand exactly what you're saying . You would probably have to Google to see what it's names are in other cultures as I have to do this a lot with things from the Indian Grocers to see what names they are also known elsewhere by .
This is about the best I've ever heard anyone describe a plant. Thanks!
Yeah this channel is really impressive and goes the distance
That was easily the most thorough identification description I've ever seen and I've seen many. Thank you.

Anyone here to see if the plant in RDR2 was a real thing?
Already knew it was a real thing, but RDR2 did bring me here.😄
No I am making some backer
What is, "RDR2?"
@@TotalDec Red Dead Redemption 2
Great video. Bad pronunciations.
Is it in India
Probably not. This plant is native to North America. The word "Indian" in the common name refers to North American native Indians.
