0:40 what's also interesting about the light shining through the power cell ribs is that it was replicated on the proton pack model in the 2009 video game, as well as the open drilled hole on the side. In the game, they're treated as actual lights on the pack.
I love this video series! I built my pack almost 10 years ago and would have given anything for these breakdowns. I had to do frame by frame on most scenes (then had to do it again when Blu Ray came out lol) Great work!
I love watching your videos breaking down the pack details. I know you did this (and probably the other packs) over a year ago, but if you do any more in the future, will it be possible for you to highlight draw a circle around the details you are discussing? I’ve only just starting to look into building my own pack and I’m not familiar with all the terminology and descriptions you use in your videos, so this would be super helpful. Love your work, keep busting!
The one in Casper was the Spengler Hero. The clear tube that was dangling out of the wand was a characteristic of both the Spengler and Stantz hero packs. The straps on the Stantz are backwards and the Clippard label on the wand is facing down. The Spengler’s straps are mounted normally and the Clippard label is facing down, which matches the Casper pack. You’re not the first to mention this pack, maybe it deserves it’s own detective video.
I'm debating repositioning my Alice frame on my pack. I think its currently too high on the motherboard. Do you know if theres a "sweet spot" the Alice frame should be mounted to the mobo? Or was each pack different in this aspect??
It looks to be pretty uniform. Look at your motherboard from the frame side. In the bottom right there is an extra bit that stands out, from the part where the tubing from the injector tubes reconnects below the bumper. The upper right point of that extension is roughly where the lower right corner of your frame should be. On the opposite side it should be just above the hole where the wire loom comes out. The bar at the top should be in line with the top of the v-hook mount/bottom of the HGA. I just eyeballed this from looking at multiple packs reference pics, so I don’t have measurements at this time. Hope that helps!!
@@TheProtonPackIsNotAToy Thanks for the reply! After checking it out, I think its just the oversized foam i have on the top cross bar that makes it seem out of place.
My pack is leans heavily towards this pack. With little things from other packs. Basically "my own" pack that I've cherry picked things I like off all the packs.
@@TheProtonPackIsNotAToy I use the same combination and placement of the resistors. When I think of a true pack. Ray's is always the one that pops in my head instantly.

I believe Dan’s quick release strap is on the opposite side to the other guys because he is left handed.
I never considered that!
Thanx Bro, keep up the awesome work Man, Blessings! . . 😎

Wooooow... can't believe it's on the same island as me.
That's kinda weird in many ways.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve considered revising these videos for the exact reason you mentioned. Maybe with clearer images as well.
Isn't the damaged one the one that got used in the Casper movie? You know where Ray's thrower was damaged thanks to Casper's uncles?

@@TheProtonPackIsNotAToy Thank you!
I agree, it should!

What specifically did you borrow from this one?

@@TheProtonPackIsNotAToy And I gotta have that N Filter label 😊 some of the others look so incomplete with out them.
Does a certain GBFans alumni own this pack, being from the UK and all?
I’ve never seen a name attached to it.
