As a boomer , the wide leg jeans & its variations , plus the unfinished hems on other styles , give me flashbacks to my youth / ol' hippie days . ☮😂 Someone once said that " once you've worn a style in a previous era , you're too old to wear it again " . 🤔 Being 5'3" , size 4 , I love straight leg or " barely bootcut " , w/ finished hems of course , for both jeans & pants - classics !! 💙

I remember when you commented once before that the wide leg jeans wouldn't work on you and and I felt like they would, so I'm glad to see you tried them. I'm always slow to warm up to styles, so it took me awhile, but I really like them now. I agree it's a little more dressy looking. That being said, I still don't have any, because I think they look best with a heel, which I don't wear much anymore. Definitely keep them!

I really like wide leg and straight leg jeans. Wide leg are for spring, summer and fall only. I cannot wear them with my big snow boots, which are a must here in Quebec.

I’m finding that Jean (pants) styles are limited if you can’t wear the popular high rise! They are everywhere!

I’m 5 foot too and barrel jeans look like high waters when they’re ankle length. I like them if they hit right above the floor. Wide cuff would cut my legs in half. Horseshoe jeans would look hideous on my short legs! The no. 8 wide leg jeans is what looks good on me. I’m hourglass shaped and they balance me out. Flare leg jeans I also like. They too balance my figure being slightly wider at the bottom.

I think you look great in the wide leg jeans, but I don’t really like to see jeans that sweep the floor in length. Just a personal preference from a fellow short girl who can’t wear heels! 😂

Not a fan of cropped jeans. But the wide leg jeans looked nice on you. The key is not to wear a top that is too long and that cuts you in half visually. I guess that is why i don't care for the cropped pants...they cut your legs off at an awkward length which makes them look stubby.
