I wasn't sure how long to make this video initially, but decided to just upload the entire opera sequence.
It's _so_ good. It's personally my favorite part of the game. The boss, the cutscenes, characters, voice acting. Everything is so good in these 2 hours.
Louis got impaled through the shoulder, had the BALLS to walk up to the roof and casually ask the party if they had lost the offending weapon, then proceeded to fight them 1v6. Respect.
He even could have killed the protagonist with the lance if he wanted to but chose to instead have a duel out of sheer respect for him. Bro is just that confident.
@@ZonaiHero-ul5nm*Spoilers*
Bro was so confident in himself he didn't even use his archetype.
I'm pretty sure he couldn't use an Archetype until he had the Royal sceptre@@TheLostSheep578
@@TheLostSheep578 Spoilers
I'm pretty sure he couldn't use an Archetype here. He didn't unlock it until he had the Royal Scepter
This entire sequence is like that meme of someone's fluctuating heartrate going like
it's so over *WE'RE SO BACK* it's so over *WE'RE SO BACK* it's so over *WE'RE SO BACK* it's so over *WE'RE SO BACK*
27:06 This scene is done incredibly well, I'm astonished. The way the protag waits and aims anxiously throughout the entire song, knowing he only has one chance to fulfill the objective they've been pursuing for so long now, it really gets you pumped. The song is perfect for this moment too, with that fast paced beat (most prominent when the protag starts charging and aiming the spear) and the final lyrics with so much emotion. Probably my favorite scene of the entire game here
the opera sequence is my favorite in the entire game. It's so good
@@FazPersona makes sense. Real fan of all anime scenes too tbh
Louis is an amazing villian. His fight was tough, and keep in mind he was handicapped. His comeback was spectacular, using the fake spear we made to his advantage and then killing Forden. He then kills Fidelio, reminding us that he is a villian that we hate and must defeat. The Story writers did an excellent job.
Also, fun fact: If the protag uses Knight's Procalamation when fighting the guards, they are actually force to target you, and the King's magic prevents them from taking an action. Give it a try when you are in this section with Eupha.
By luck, I actually did this first time around. I did lose the first battle against the guards but once I had my wits back I just kept using KP while Eupha ranged. Much simpler than I thought that sequence would be.
I can’t say when I got to his fight that it was tough. I just used a couple Debilitate items that made him helpless (I think it was called Evil Eye or something).
I got the items very easily from one of those one eyed ogre fellas as it was their rare drop (ie Steal item -> Run Away repeat like 3-4 times every time I encountered them).
The Sanctists coming to Basilio to pay their respects to Fidelio really got me in the feels. Hit me like a truck.
Best arc of the entire game imo
100%. The opera sequence was genuinely 2 hours of peak gaming
God, this whole part was just a massive stack of Uno reverse cards, it's insane.
So we have the “fate-saddled child” (protagonist)
One “who art seared in bitterness” (Strohl)
One “who wanders in solemn duty” (Hulkenburg)
One “who falters in memory” (Heismay)
One “who wanders in sorrow” (Junah)
The “Torn Maiden of Faith” (Eupha)
And the “Grief-wracked brother” (Basilio)
These are our “anguished travelers”
The protagonist is also the only one described as having a fate that is crown-twined, soul bound for the throne. The others are lodestars whose light reveals the king's own path.
Wonder how it'll all actually end though...
O lodestar...
Ok. I expected Basilio to be the last team member, but NOT AT ALL LIKE THIS! LOUIS WE ARE COMING YA!!!!!!
Honestly, i love this antagonist for this year. His ideal, his character design and personality more unexpected
Just reached this point in my playthrough and I can confidently say, at least for me, this will be game of the year.
They really just keep forgetting that he's him.
What o love of this scene is that while did fail in its objective, it wasn't a failure typical of anime.
The plan work, they hit him and louis didn't expect the attempt, he survived by luck, something more interesting to me that make him the master planer with everything plan for any case
Soundtrack goes hard wtf
Can’t believe they did it again with P3 Shinjiro death expect this one live
That dude was lame
He played everyone. And we gave him precisely the tool to make it a spectacle. Just absolutely amazing! I just made it to a good ways farther in the game but this sequence was just... insane. And I had a heck of a time beating Louis here XD.
Insane pump fake death that's why Louis is the GOAT
You know, this whole time ever since they planned how to kill Louis, I thought Louis was just gonna not die from the lance, and announce to the crowd “nvm, I’m announcing the relic after all.”
Louis took it three steps further.
It's Griffith!
Holy crap talk about one twist after the other they had me fully convinced Louis was dead. I was also thinking this was like the mid point of the game but no turns out it's the second to last level. I know Atlus loves to do fake out final bosses before we get the real last boss and while this still technically is it's not changing out Louis for another villian which is a good twist on it. Especially as Forden is just as much of a bastard as Louis so it was easy for me to think he was being set up as the true final boss here. But no turns out both of them had a hand in the conspiracy that lead to the kings death.
My death was greatly exaggerated
I honestly didn't think Louis would get hit so bad lol.
Damn, Louis is CRAZY!
thats my GOAT
@@FazPersona Where do you rate him as a character?
23:30
oh hey there Yaldabaoth
one of, if not my favorite character
@@FazPersona Ok, I’m really excited now!
I didn’t expect them to be the seventh party member
And their awakening is so simple I love it the most. it's not loud and bombastic as the other awakening but a more subtle and more hard hitting one
@@tmonster1852 I called it. But I did not expect it to go down like that. Poor Basilio
@@axell15thewispmaster79I knew he was a likely party member, but seeing how he's in a double-act, _something_ had to happen to his partner.
In my case, when I was in the island festival, my theory was that the protag was gonna killed Louis with drakodios, but in the last second Del will risk his life defending Louis. After that, Louis will show his true color in front of Basilio, not caring for the weak, but I didn't expect Louis death and come back alive. He is my fav villain yet.
YEAAAAAAASSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!
28:31 is straight chills bro
Its like P5 planning phrase but with P3MC P4MC P5 Sumire with 2 extea.
I found it hillarious that Louis's plan for foiling the party's assassination plot boiled down to:
"Fk it, I'll just tank the kingslayer lance and hope it doesn't crit."
AND THEN HE CASUALLY WALKS to us with a gaping wound in his chest and engages us in a 1 v 4. Louis might be a genocidal maniac but DAMN he is such a chad while doing it!
To the end of my days I shall be debating with myself whether missing Louis' heart or Zorba claiming swapping the lances was hardly difficult is the least believable part in all this.
I think it will mostly depend on when Zorba swapped the lances, but that isn't discussed.
Yeah louis is too cool to die in one fight
"Attack in any number, wield any weapon... But fight with yout very lives. If you live by a creed show me its strenght" this is so hard
He's so damn cool
This man makes the best entrences
bro ran the wife party 😂
Just beat hard on my first playthru
This game is not as easy as other atlus games
The fact that the enemies get 2 turns in battle per each enemy is actually crazy
I think I'm fucked... I somehow got to this point with my team underlevelled. They're just now encroaching 50s with their levels. Even on "easy" difficulty I'm pretty damn nervous I have screwed myself.
I wonder who the actual person who casted the curse would be, it's not Louis but it's also not Forden? Who is it then? Also I am interested to see whether or not Louis is the final boss or if it's a secret puppet master like in every Persona game, or maybe they'll make Hythlodaeus the final boss.
Interesting
I'm thinking the Queen at this point, who is also the voice we hear throughout the game. We know nothing of her so far and it's clear the Prince is gonna have a major role at the endgame. Zorba surviving had me shook though. The twists and turns in this game has me remembering the PS1 era days with JRPGs.
@@FateTearsStudios fr, I thought he would be a one-off minor villain like captain klinger but I guess he might be the secondary antagonist.
Obliviosly it's a HOOLLY GRAIL
nope louis is the main antagonist, as for the actual caster of the curse I can’t spoil you
Yay Luois is alive🎉
@@goodbutter9763 Not yay, hw is about to conquer the entire world

This was probably my favourite part of the entire game. I felt soo nervous even though I wasn’t really there. Atlus storytelling at its finest.
Also the Louis fight was comically easy since you can just Tetrakarn the protagonist and watch him hit himself. That’s how I ended up beating him. LMAO.
Bro the game has been out for one day DAM
So I take it he's not the final boss then
Spoiler:
no it is satan ;)
Part 4 when?
in a few hours!
Part 4?
So is he literally Lucifer or just an allusion?
Allusion. He takes inspiration from Shin Megami Tensei's Lucifer, but he's not literally Lucifer.
@@user-bz9of6tn6l But is is quite heavy of an allusion if you saw the the last battle you have against him
Why am i still getting notifications from u even tho i unsub? 😅😂
I'll sub to u again after i finish the game (sry bro my day is not complete without watching some yt) im tryna avoid other walkthroughs of this game.
Why does this game look so easy compared to older atlus titles?
On hard it's actually much harder than even smt imo
@@mrogun1974 On normal it is, especially THAT final boss
Its harder than persona, idk about smt
