So how many hours of sleep did you get from _check notes_ 2-3 days of speedrunning this game?
Thanks! I beat the game at 2am and didn’t think I wanted to sit through another hour of ending. Skipped everything & went to bed. Now I can watch at 1:30 and see what happens. Thanks again!
Will the King Archetype be available in NG+? It seems to be similar to Messiah, Izanagi no Kami, and Satanael.
thank you for sharing this ^^
So the main villain isn’t the Devil Lucifer but Louis with the Arch demon Archetype…..Hey Strange Journey, i think this one is yours!!!
This giving me seymour from final fantasy X and sephiroth from final fantasy VII vibes. I love it !
ALL HAIL KING FAZ THE FIRST!
I would say the game is like Project moon universe 1 minute you are fighting thief, syndicate, or the corporation elite forces and 1 minute later you are fighting an powerful Abnormality born from mind of humans ( mostly aspect of desire or Fear) or you will fight distortion monster born from individual who have been overcome by their emotions. here they use a fantasy take on it like those Homo type bosses, and also yet another final boss that is long and hard truly peak Atlus boss design which i really enjoy. if they make a new sequel i hope they show more those Homo type boss and a entire new region who what sort of mental state those people in that new region would have.
Do not compare this with Project Moon. The situation with Project Moon is much, much less optimistic and you'll probably end up with everyone dead.
@@mrex666productions7 fair enough.
@@mrex666productions7 LobCorp ending: The light was almost released, but Angela kept some of it to herself, meaning the purpose of L Corp wasn't entirely complete
LOR ending: The light was released proper, but the library itself was sent to the Outskirts due to breaking a certain commandment
PM's endings are closer to bittersweet, if anything
@@kichiroumitsurugi4363 If it's for the 14 to 15 or so people involved directly in L corp (and they're technically the ones who started everything) yeah, but for the rest they're still fucked. It's grimdark taken to a literal conclusion (possibly even worse than 40k by the way) unlike this.
So more is the king damn and the voice is the queen no wonder in mc combine with the prince she said a from of an elda as i once was man take me awhile to realised that
I mean who else other than his mother would care enough to take his soul out of his dying body to send him on a journey?
Forden fumbled so hard his actions led to a demi-god built on nothing but trauma and rage
This îs Best game i wish to play And yes. ,i wish for a sequel for this game Like metaphor 2 maybe
Nice, what‘s with the final boss battle against Zorba though? Do we fight him, was he transformed into a monster as well and do you happen to have that fight as well?
Sorry I didnt manage to put that into the video. It’ll be in part 6! Or I’ll make a separate video about it
@@FazPersona Thanks. Can you confirm that Zorba also transformed into a monster like Louis did here?
yes!
Watch atlus make a dlc for the kings archetypes and then gives us myriad truth in super steroid
32:18 yeaaah no lol
GRIFFITH!!!!!!
It's heartwarming that two of the first allies and guides the MC gained were the spirits of his deceased parents.
A great game comes to a close. What a thrilling adventure and a happy ending to this great fantasy that is Metaphor: Refantazio. Atlus, never change
Louis looks like helel
His entier character is a reference to Lucifer, down to the name: Louis (Cypher)
@@nicolasalazard8080Yep, we literately been guessing thus ever since he was revealed, his appearance to Lucifer is too on the spot.
Also Griffith from Berserk who falls into the same category
Man that last fight had me in tears, When i saw the final soul scream, i wanted to end it all. Why you gotta be such a lil bitch Louis lmao. Then i remembered my ace in the hole... Armageddon's last sire!
I somehow completely missed Armageddon, but I was so over leveled anyway I didn’t even had to use the gain turn icon ability. Basillio practically did the whole fight himself lol
@@Freakymonkey78 Heismay basically carried for me, he dodged everything lmao
@@manutdfan231 Makarakan cheesing lol
I want to see Alonzo's true form!
even longer than persona 3's final boss it seems
I wonder what the 2nd one of MetaphorReFantazio is about?
"FEEL TRUE TERROR!" gets 4 more turn icons....I felt terror, indeed
Now that's some Final Fantasy type shit!
I would love to see a video of all Archetypes in the game with their lore pages and battle gameplay (and possibly a japanese version along side it since I would love to know their Japanese name counter parts, like here it's Warrior, but in Japan it's Fighter).
THIS GAME GO DEEP IN ON HOW A MAKER FEEL UPON THEIR CREATIONS!!!
Hi, would you consider uploading the save file for players who wish to start the game as NG+ straight?
Guess if he ever has kids
They would call them
Him the third
Him the 5th
And so on😂
the louis human fights took way too long for me, a full day of retrying, whilst being overleveled regicide is not for the weak
I'm still struggling with both forms of this boss. The first one is manageable louis's second form is just a nightmare. I also don't have all the Royal archtypes unlocked.
50:35 He literally looks like Innocence from FF14
43:40 this part gets me. Real goku vibes here
I wonder if the battle transition sound is built onto the engine of p5? I don't remember any other atlus game reusing the battle transition sound from a game from a different series
Can we use the King archetype in the ng+?
Does anyone know the song that plays when the team is defending the gauntlet runner?
The heart moment was fucking raw man, imagine if in persona makoto shot himself
Hey, is this basically part 6 or just its own thing? I'm asking because I just finished part 5 and starting this there seems to be some plot missing between this video and playthrough part 5 video? much thanks
sorry, this is not part 6. That will be coming later today / early tomorrow
Congrats for completing Metaphor ReFantazio! Was the game itself very long?
I think it'll take most players 90 to 100 hours.
Longer than say, Persona 3 or 4, but doesn't overstay its welcome. There's a section later in the game where it seems evident content was cut that could've made it longer, even.
31:48 shibuya ???
shibuya persona 5!
And i would expect joker break More's illusion fantasy in alternate world
How does it feel to win this contest for the throne
This was an incredibly hard final boss on hard and i'm glad. I managed to beat it with Prince Will, Royal Berserker Basilio, Royal Warrior Strohl and Royal Dancer Junah with Mercy Mask. At first this comp sounds unbalanced but somehow it works out extremely well when you deal a quadjillion damage every turn. Wasn't easy nevertheless but very fun.
I've only played P3/P5 and Metaphor. Louis was definitely the most challenging boss. A certain palace ruler in P5 was a giant pain in the ass but you could cheese your way out of it. Can't do that here as easily lol. Junah, Heismay, and Basilio were absolutely critical to my completing it on even just Normal.
What do you think about game, Faz?
For all of those currently playing the game, that's great! I hope you enjoy it to the fullest, me personally it's not my cup of tea but that's fine! Not everyone is gonna like everything. Always remember never let anyone put you down for what you like! If you like it, and you enjoy it, and it brings you happiness, you should play it! Whoever may be reading this have a great day and I hope you keep finding games that truly makes you happy!
Why are you here🤨
@@linkwolf2196 I just thought i'd leave a positive comment.
Just wanted to let you know that you are getting goat for this take
@@JosephVTBThanks!
Uh ok
Hello Aragorn, long time no see. I mean, Will/Protagonist.
"Even the smallest person can change the course of the future”.
I really do hope they make a sequel in some way for this game cause they really did great job making it
Can we use the King archatype? I'm assuming it's NG+ as per usual Atlus
Nope
So, the best build for the protagonist is a physical one, huh
I ran a magic build all the way through and it never really fell off at all, and I even made him my main dps
Magic build is really solid too but the prince archtype has an unique strenght focused almighty attack.
I ran my protagonist as support, his only damage came from the almighty attack, basillio and strohl just clobbered everything. Junah just cleansed and passed her mp to them lol
The story almost like King Arthur ❤❤❤
Arthur is the archetype of the king (literal use of the word, not the personas of the game). A young and inexperienced boy but with a sweet and brave heart who becomes a mature, strong and fair king.
@@TuxDroid i wonder new game plus we can use Archetype King like Persona series we can use ultimate persona MC in new game pluss
Nope@@shingwu2481
Everyone: tries to at least convince Louis to stop his plans
Basilio: *YoU ArE a CoWaRd😀*
I don't understand. Was Metaphor actually a main protagonist's dream? Is ReFantazio set in the same universes as Shin Megami Tensei and Persona or not?
It not in same universe as smt or persona

Was Louis "human" too?
Everyone is human but Louis is an Elda like Will
Yes. He was an Elda, the name that real humans use to distinguish themselves from the monsters.
@@huyhoangminhdo7738 i meant for monster named "human" tho.

1:12:37 this is Lucifer!
I had to watch this because i killed him on my first turn even on hard and didnt get to see any of his attacks lmao
