In my opinion, it would be helpful to show where this might be used, in advance, prior to the install demo. I'm a visual learner and would appreciate seeing how I might use this. Then, I'm sure I could think of other instances where these fasteners would be useful to me. I really like that the part # is shown as the part is shown. I also appreciate that you show an alternative to the tool, as we may not need to install a lot of the fasteners! Thanks, Sailrite!
Is there a new dies for press n snap using caps underneath? Like 6:35 setup so we don't have to take it down and instead of laying it on the table. Got grommet dies from Sailrite and ordering now for gypsy stud & etc., really great to have 1 tool for everything so waiting for turn button dies.
The only die set for the Pres-N-Snap tool for twist lock fasteners is this one: www.sailrite.com/Pres-N-Snap-Turn-Lock-Die-Set Watch the video under that product for more information.
You shouldnt put an eyelet in a less backed location. Unbalanced stress at eyelet location will cause tearing. Placing in a double thick area will support the eyelet best.

Do you need to even cut the centre hole, or can you just use the hot knife after the button is installed?
If you are careful you can just use the hotknife after its installed.

Very thorough video.
Do I have to install the eye in the hemmed seam? ( between the stitch) or can The eye go under it an inch?
