You're welcome, yes they're great for me. Have been using for years with no issue. Knock on wood. As long as ones you have are rated for the weight they're good 👍
@@funnyguydescartes1347 No I think that one just takes regular Honda ATF fluid. Check owners manual for fluid type and capacity. I would go to dealer theyll be able to give you right fluid. You only want to use Honda fluid 👍
Probably not a bad thing to redo the video in daylight. I’ll be changing mine plus rear differential as soon as I get the correct fluids. Hopefully I can find it cheaper than the $30 per quart I see on Amazon Canada.
Using a jug is inaccurate. What if the trans is under or over full from the last service? You’d be filling to that same level. Since the Honda LL-CTVs (and M-CVT in the Fit and HR-V) don’t have dipsticks to confirm the level, the check bolt needs to be used. Also the process is different in the 6AT, 9AT, and 10AT equipped Hondas.
Not sure what country you're in, but at least in the United States, for the 2014 Model Year they still used the 5 speed AT, switching to the CVT for 2015. Not so oddly, You can buy a used transmission in the junk yards for a 12-14 model for $150-$400. For a 2015-2016? More like $1500-2000.
Thanks for the info. From something I had read about the CVTs is they must have rolled it out in 14 on some of the models. I believe the Civic and Accords 👍
Dang that's too bad, sorry to hear. I haven't heard of widespread major problems with these transmission before though. This one had over 100k without issue. She may have just got unlucky, I usually get an extended warranty for at least 100k on new cars since repairs are so high now

I have those Rhino Ramps and after seeing this, I realized I can use it for my Civic and not just for my mowers. Thanks.

Good luck 👍 call around to closest local Honda Dealers. Should be able to find better price. Ebay has decent deals too 👍

Yes I mentioned the correct refill amounts as well as the check bolt 👍

Thanks cuz!
My coworker just paid Honda $6200 to have her CRV CVT replaced with only 54,000 original miles on it. Honda CVTs suck!
