Custom sim racing rig cart

- After getting the Slip-Angle 4 corner bass shakers mounted to my rig, I couldn't move the unit around anymore, and I need the space. This video shows you how to build a simple cart that allows you to move a heavy rig around. Have a rig that moves around when you want it.
It's important to get wheels that will support the total weight of your rig and all peripherals that will be mounted to your rig. Also use a platform that will support the weight of your rig and anyone on it.

That's awesome man! Neat and tidy job 🙂👌 How are the 2 sheets of ply coping with the weight of the rig and you? A simple timber frame under the bottom of the Plywood would make it solid as a rock.
I'd say the wheels make it so much easier to manoeuvre than the sliders. Awesome job bud. Looks savage 🙂👊
@footdownracing thank you. I played with the idea of a frame but I didn’t want to make the cart heavier. So instead, I tried to put the corner of the rig directly over each wheel so that the wheels take the bulk of the weight, and not the platform. I’ll see in a couple of months how it holds up.
Nice setup.. did you look into using retractable castors at all? As these can be bolted straight onto the rig frame. Seen a few setups on RaceDepartment that use them.
@bobsimpson5886 retractable sounds like a great idea, and unfortunately didn’t think about it. I wanted something I could get right away and I don’t mind the wheels on the ground so I feel like actually getting into a car 😂
