- After the week of carnage from the Oodnadatta track ( • THE OODNADATTA TRACK -... ), we get stuck in Coober Pedy waiting for parts for the patrol.
Emotions and stress ran high this week which wasn't helped by another travelling family laughing at our misfortunes! Not cool!!

Try chicken wire as a cheap way to reduce the damage from large rocks under the van. You can just zip tie or wire tire it up.
It is not pretty but it’s a good start.

Hey guys just for future reference just wrap that boot in glad wrap and and duck tape on the ends keeps the dirt out and grease in till you get it repaired all so get a spare set of boots there pretty easy to change UA-cam is your mate haha

Don’t be disheartened but fellow traveler’s who mock, that is just rude. You create great content, and we enjoy watching your videos. I’m sorry to hear you’ve experienced nasty comments. It’s great to see you out and about and exploring this amazing country that we call home. I’m sure you have much support and it’s been great seeing you Chanel grow. We all have to travel within our means and we cannot all afford the best of the best. It’s all about what you have and getting out and enjoying traveling. We started watching you way back why debs parents brought their Essential Caravan, which lead us to purchase the same caravan as they did. We are just weekend traveler’s at this stage from Melbourne Victoria and would love to travel Aus in our 18 foot Essential. enjoyed your Victoria travels content also by the way, not many folks post in vic so thank you).

Thanks legends for the support! We don’t wish anything bad on anyone, we just hope they learn from their mistakes and grow from it. They used to be so supportive and we’d swap stories so who know what was going on with them that day! We all have bad days but the ironic thing is they blocked us and our friends on insta because we called out their bad behaviour!

You’re right, it does say a lot about them but they used to be so supportive and their content was pretty good because they’re also on the socials! Hey guys keep your head up being out on the road through you so many curve balls believe us we know and some people say some harsh things but just remember they don’t matter and try and ignore it but keep doing you guys and showing people how it is possible to do things with out the big set ups

No problems we are all here for each other no matter what
We know what it’s like to have things go wrong we are currently back in qld waiting for our van repairs from Christmas but that starts next month so all going to plan we be looking at being back out there again in couples months
Don't know why anyone was laughing at your caravan suspension. Looks like 90% of the other offroad vans on the market. With regard to the Y62 a diff relocation would be a good idea with a 50mm lift but that may not have been the reason for splitting the CV boot anyway. You will need to bleed the caravan brakes when you do the final repair. Not sure how that is done on a van but I guess there is a procedure for it. Good luck with the repairs.
Cheers for that mate, really appreciate the positive input! 👊🏽They were laughing at the fact we got damage after telling us that they would never have a van without Cruisemaster airbag suspension. Yeah we’re bleed the brakes by getting the wifey to push the brake pedal to push fluid through the line! All good now thanks! 🤞🏽
Ignore the ignorant ‘A holes’. They probably can’t drive off road and have to rely on technology to get through! Safe travels, enjoy!

TBH, they do go Offroad and their content is good, it’s a shame about their one act of whatever you want to call it.

When you put your life in the public eye it sometimes attracts the lowest forms of life out there. To make UA-cam videos about your life you do have to have thick skin. All I can say is do your best to forget the scum bags and keep on smiling.
