Nice video! I almost had it open but I decided to watch a video to prevent accidentally damaging it. It also helps me to know which battery I need before opening it because I will need the key fob to make it to the store to buy the battery. I'll be sure to keep a spare in my car now. I also need a spare key fob. Car only came with one. 🤦♂️

Replaced battery on mine and now the trunk opens up randomly through out the day.

You should not have to reprogram the remote when you replace the battery.
My key fob has no internal key
Sounds like you might have a different version of the key. You can try opening the key in a similar way should in this video.

you should not have to re-sync the remote because of battery replacement
No don't use a screwdriver. Use your key that's in the key fob there's a slot right above where the key goes you just put the key in there turn the key and it pops it open. It also shows how to do it in the owner's manual. If you do it that way with a screwdriver there's a possibility of messing up the seams on the key fob.

please make sure the battery was placed in correctly and that the battery is good. The fob should not use programming because you change the battery. If you are sure the battery is good and are installed correctly then try unhooking both terminals on the vehicle battery and let sit for 10 minutes, rehook, then try key fob.
