You said Great Value at Kroger, but, I think that actually comes from Walmart doesn't it. Basically that a person won't go to Kroger to look for it. Not that they don't carry a similar item.

Hi Mel! Well, you've done it again!!! Crock pot recipes are my favorites. I honestly don't think I could make do without my crock pot. I use it year round I especially like using it in the Summer to avoid using the stove/oven and heating up the kitchen. These recipes look delicious and I'm so excited to try them. Good evening ❤. I do agree, no beans or corn lol. I do enjoy refried beans 😋. I really like the old el paso taco size shells. Especially with breakfast tacos. You can heat in the microwave and they don't get hard.

I'm have diabetes and I buy LA Banderita carb counter tortillas. They are soft and fluffy and tastes good. I also use them for sandwiches as I try to keep my carb intake down.
Do you ever use crockpot liners? Why or why not I love watching your recipes because they are so easy. I usually forward them on to my daughter. She has two teenagers at her house and a husband she has to feed. She also works full-time and is always looking for great recipes to feed her family. Thank you for making life simpler for everyone. But I love the liners, especially when I'm taking food to a potluck or something like that.

I made your chicken enchilada recipe. Since I had a rotisserie chicken already chopped up and ready to go, I just put it together in a skillet and it came out delicious. I always lean to you for quick delicious meals I can prepare on the fly! Thank you!!

Shredding the meat would be more authentically Italian since they never put a chunk of meat on pasta for fear they'd cut their pasta when they cut meat. That alternative sounds like a great idea. And maybe you could change the name from Tuscan. Funny how that word gets added to things using sun dried tomatoes. Italians did use cream in dishes during the 80s, but the fad didn't stick there like here. :)

Mission "Soft" are the best tortillas! :) That said, I also like Tortilla Land Uncooked Flour tortillas in the refrigerated section. You put them on a comal/griddle and they cook right there and then and they are amazing!
I love Mission Carb balance. A lot healthier but tastes great.

I think I would use arugala in the Tuscan chicken. I think La Banderita has the best store bought flour tortillas. I think they are the closest to homemade, IMO.

Missoni Fajita size and I keep in refrigerator with no problem. I use these for sandwiches or anything sandwich like.
Love the mission flour soft taco shells. I buy the low carb ones and they are so soft and delicious. I also store them in the refrigerator and I think they stay fresher longer.

The layered chicken enchilada dish looks really good. I feel the same about mayonnaise and sour cream as your daughter does about corn and black beans. The lasagna soup looks like a winner. I think I'll be trying it.

If you make the Tuscan Chicken a lot you could mix the spices together and have them in a jar just for that. And it would save you having to get out all the different Bottles.😊

What did you think of the Ninja Possible Cooker? I really love mine. It's wonderful to be able to sauté right in the pot you are slow cooking in. I watch your videos and really like them. I just never comment but when I seen you had this unit I was so excited I just had to say something.
First of all, thank you so much for watching, I really appreciate you. And secondly, I LOVE that Njnja Possible! I even fried hamburgers in it the other day and the high sides kept grease from popping out and getting all over the counter. I love a good old home fried burger but hate the mess all over the stove to clean up. I filmed it to show one day 🤣 I've had a lot of people ask me about it and all it can do, so I'm playing with it. And I wondered if anyone had been using it like an electric skillet.
My brother always had cherry chip cake for his birthday when we were growing up, I wonder if he would like the 7-Up Cherry cake. Our mom made a chocolate maraschino cherry cake that she mixed up in the pan cake and I really wish I had that recipe!

I love it! The crockpot capacity is 8.5 quarts and you can do LOTS of things with it the main ones I find will be useful is using it like an extra oven to bake in. The crock insert is nonstick and it and the glass lid are oven safe and I absolutely LOVE the sauté function. The only drawback for me is that the entire device is just really big and takes up a lot of space. I don't keep any of my crockpots out on the counter anyway but this one is too big to fit in my cabinets (it's really tall too) so I store it in my laundry room. But it's worth the space, I love what all I can do with it and I needed a larger one for the times when I want to make a larger chili or something like that to feed a crowd.
