The classy two-year-old saw George Boughey's Pentle Bay back in second and Brain in third.

There's no such thing as a certainty in horse racing.
I’d say it’s the second top performance by a 2yo this week. Fairy Godmother was unbelievable too. It’ll take a good one to beat either of them.

Wow just wow. I marked this filly out as something special after her debut run but that just blew me away. The last time I felt this wow factor with a horse running at Ascot was her Dad.

Is this the most impressive performance by a Frankel we’ve seen? Cracksman’s Champion Stakes maybe but this certainly reminded me of the great horse more. All it needed was Khalad Abdullah’s silks and Exelebration wondering where they’d gone! Visually you’d be surprised to see another performance as impressive as this this year. Wondering if she could go further than a mile in time. Because of the dam you’d doubt it but anyway what a performance.
With that speed you would have serious reservations about her getting 10-12f but some people had doubts over Frankel moving up in trip so you never know. One thing is for sure is that Coolmore will try find her limit anyway.
@@frankelforever14 Hard to imagine her getting 12F with her breeding - but, it will be very interesting to see what she does for the rest of this season. Breeders Cup 2yo race this year?
@@fawltyoldboybasil.2178 I would say the Ballydoyle filly she beat in her maiden will end up as their BC juvenile turf filly. I can see Bedtime Story taking in the Moyglare before heading to Ascot for the fillies mile, soft ground should be ok for her given her dam loved it.
That was the most impressive performance by a 2 year old filly Ive seen. I was gobsmacked

Coolmore have not done too well out of Frankel purchases, but this one could be special.
I reserve reservations about the performance, it looked a little bit too good, can't help feeling that the fast ground played its part, plus I'm no fan of horses out of Sprinting mares.
Considering He came from a Great Coolmore stallion they are well entitled l would think

@@Thomas-vg8ov she is by Meccas Angel who didn't peak till she was 4 and I would say the same about her Dad so the sky could be the limit.
@@frankelforever14 That a fair point, but it doesn't necessarily mean she's going to be likewise? I'm not a fan of horses by fast mares in general and just think that this performance is going to be hard to better, but I also feel that a few didn't like the fast ground and it could just be a little flattering? But I look forward to her next race with interest.

@@Thomas-vg8ov Her dam, Meccas Angel loved soft ground, so did the Grand Dam, Dark Angel. So you could say from your theory, that Bed Time Story wouldn't enjoy fast ground either.
Just to think Aidan O'Brien has City of Troy, Fairy Godmother and Bedtime Story all in his stable and likely going to dominate for the next few years. Ballydoyle dominance incoming...AGAIN.

What a performance just stunning however I'll probably get slated for this I was more impressed with Fairy godmothers performance on Friday nothing against Bedtime story could be anything

@leenffc8164 based on the two performances this week I'd agree with you on Bedtime story producing the better one. Fairy Godmother ran them down superbly but Bedtime story had that whoosh moment we don't often see in flat races over this distance. Hopefully they both stay sound and give us a lot more joy over the next couple of seasons.
Bedtime story would have won that race at 5 furlongs 6/7

@@lean2281True, just like that rubbish one million two hundred and fifty thousand guineas horse Coolmore sent to the Coventry (Camille Pissarro) or the a little less expensive (500,000gns) Whistlejacket they ran in the Windsor Castle, unfortunately money is no guarantee, I think Appleby has only ran a third of the Horses O'Brien sent over, but don't let facts like that get in the way of a good slagging and by the way, they did have a Ascot winner, best get try checking before you make comments.

Winning any race at Royal-Ascot by 9-1/2 lengths is nearly unheard of unless your name is Frankel...........................or perhaps one of his offspring!

Problem is beat absolutely nothing and quickened off a very slow pace
Look at the next run when was 1.14 on fav in Ireland and was very workman 3.1 fav for next years 1000 guineas is a ridiculous price

This is against the colts. Back against the fillies she's probably near unbeatable. You can tell 3 furlongs from home she's gonna win.

Stop judging this run by the winning distance... it was a 1m 27s run at listed level where the top 5 excluding her have only ran maidens at class 5. Not fast enough if she's moving into G2 or G1s without massive improvement.

I’m always a bit wary of horses winning like this. So often they bomb out next time. Strictly on this performance though, she’ll be running in a group one next & will be favourite.
that time would have had her third in the jersey ,carrying 6lbs less than the 3yo Haatem.The weight for age scale says she should get about 30lbs.
She will win Moyglare next, Moore said she was that class of a filly, in interview after race . Maybe you need a trip to Specsavers! That was a Group 1 winning performance.

This filly is top class, look at the breeding, a blend of speed and stamina.The Sire Frankel, rated the greatest horse in european horse racing history. The Dam, Meccas Angel, Grand Dam, Dark Angel both top class Group 1 winning sprinters.
Bed Time Story will win all the best 7f/mile 2yo's fillies races in europe this season. Also probably next years 1000 Guineas as well. Do you need to take your medication John, do you want me to phone the doctor?
