Win or lose, at least they give their horses the chance. They're not afraid to get their horses beaten, unlike some who have and had their horses mollycoddled and rapped in cotton wool just to keep an unbeaten record.

In 2001 the defending champion and horse of the year Tiznow denied the Arc winner Sackee ridden by Frankie Dettori after a stirring battle down the final straight. Galileo was also in the race and raced prominently. Three years later Frankie had his revenge when he guided Ravens Pass to victory denying the defending champion Curlin who had pointed briefly after entering the final straight. Another European based horse Henry the Navigator finished strongly for second place.
the bc classic in 2000 was a great race too. tiznow battling with giants causeway. tiznow cost me a lot of money in 2000 and 2001. in 2000 giants causeway would have paid me almost $30K on the p4 but my worst beat ever was 2001 sakhee would have paid me $550k on the p6. won $7k on that bet with 5 of 6 twice, never been so sad when i won $7k.
Massive City of Troy fan. Been studying recent Breeders cup classics. And a few pointers in his favour. Usually a small field, and even more interesting is the fact that, most of the front runners were never pegged back. So for me if Troy can hit the gates, get on the rail. It will take something special to pass him. I for one think 3-1 is an absolute bargain. And can see him going off nearer to 6-4 on the day. 😊

On the clock plenty of horses were faster than frankel horses like COT, and STS his style of running made for spectacular viewing going out like a scolded cat and sometimes winning by large distances but on the clock actually slower than previous winners.To me COT was no better or no worse than frankel as a 2yr old and deserved a similar rating as for his 3yr old campaign l think even after the guinneas flop if he pulls off the BC classic he deserves the same rating as STS or even Frankel .at 3yrs

On the clock plenty of horses were faster than frankel horses like COT, and STS his style of running made for spectacular viewing going out like a scolded cat and sometimes winning by large distances but on the clock actually slower than previous winners.To me COT was no better or no worse than frankel as a 2yr old and deserved a similar rating as for his 3yr old campaign l think even after the guinneas flop if he pulls off the BC classic he deserves the same rating as STS or even Frankel .at 3yrs

But I can tell you this, there isn’t a tiznow, so if he’s the best Aidan’s had, I’d start betting on him now and take the odds!
@@iancraven5978 He may well be the best Aidan has had judged on his work at home but he’s far from the best on the track imo. Also it’s such a big ask for the European turf horses to reproduce their form on dirt in the states. I don’t know what the stats are but I can’t think of a single one that’s even placed in the classic. I hope he does win but I just think it’s a big ask to win that race on your first try on dirt and I couldn’t have him at 3/1

Giant causeway and galileo both fail and for me those were great horses. Yes they both face tiznow. City of Troy goes to the breeder cup in a great form. And the division is not that strong so maybe this is O’Brien best chance due to the circumstances. All the best.

Arc winners ,Derby winners, Triple crown winners & especially multi arc winners should come in to any argument but Frankel beat fk all at 3yrs old the same horses ,he won well but times don't lie ,STS was faster in numerous races and achieving more .COT was faster one off day can't take away that .Frankel scrambled home v Zoffney at one time hardly a GOAT performance

Anything over 3-1 would be value. 2-1 looks a bit skinny. Between those two prices is up to you and your wallet.
