Maybe in its playable state, though. Not the actual first time where I got stripped and A posed on a motorbike.
The story was midcore but some side quests were awesome
You know what would've been really cool? Having both of V's voice actors doing this speech and going back and forth like it's a conversation. They're both representations of the player and you could do a ton of cool stuff with that.

Despite a rocky launch and several fixes later, this has become one of my favorite games of all time. A 10/10 experience without a doubt.
Same, and honestly, I thought the PC launch was pretty good, launch night, got all the way to start the heist before I needed to stop for the night, I had 1 t-pose bug, and then some of the floating trash here and there, so nothing major at all. Granted, the state of the PS4 launch, that was inexcusable.
But the game is amazing, and this and BG3 are probably my top games of all time, and in my top 20 play time (they'll never catch my wow, Conan, Ark, or Everquest play times but those are different beasts).
Defo not 10/10 but good
CD Red is best at Story telling and world building. This is what makes their games so good.
You are joking right? This game have literaly no choices. Look at placide missions you can 1. help him 2 tell him you don't like him but you will help him. 3 You can tell him you don't want to work with him and exit building then got phonecall that yeah you have to work with him and you choose 1 or 2. Wow, I expected better from Witcher 3 creators when you got 3 endings with baron child alone.
@@Andaril2 there are definitely choices and choices that matter. Unfortunately, for the primary story, there are certain illusion of choice instances that they have to give you to allow you to progress. But I will admit, the Placide missions were annoying due to the illusion of choice, but there are plenty of other instances where you have actual choices.
Can't imagine what the sequel gonna be like

@@jbleeky7395 I can’t tell how much time I spent exactly, but all I know I spent very little time in the game on my best friend’s PS5. Cyberpunk and RDR 2 are the only games that made me want to enjoy the world like no other games. Just embracing the Night City and doing gigs from time to time. Also as always CDPR are masters when it comes to writing a good story.
Yeah both games are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Probably because they're part of the small number of games that actually pushed the genre forward, instead of something that could've been made back in like, 2009 like most of the modern AAA slop.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 are remarkable examples of modern gaming art. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to experience the upcoming installments of the Grand Theft Auto and Witcher franchises.🥰
Whats funny is when the game came out it was heavily shat on.

Bro, a lil tipsy or high of some good weed, this game is a whole different experience...

This guys got it. This game, no… this “Place” is strangely a home away from home. My reality of dreams. It’s dystopian, it’s fucked up bad, but it’s so much more raw life. Is it crazy to feel like I could and would live a good life in this type of reality? I’d thrive in this. I’d feel more alive than ever in this. Not to say I don’t have a good life now. I’ve got a great life, and the kind of life I have would be in jeopardy in a world like this, but the fact is, we are not only heading this direction, but we are on an out of control freight train, just hurdling towards this. Cyberpunk as a genre is a warning of what could be. I took it as preparation for life later on down the line, the first time I picked up a William Gibson book. “Virtual Light” was my introduction. I was a teenager, and within weeks I had read every one of his books. I was hooked on Johnny Mnemonic when it came out on video. When the Matrix dropped, I learned literally every line of the trilogy. When CD Project Red first made light of this game all those years ago, I was like , yes! Finally. It had a rough start, but I was a fan from the get go. In fact, I loved the bugs and everything when it first came out, because it was just so jank that it was like literally low tech, bad cyberwear. I exploited the bugs and whatnot whenever I could, just to see what would happen. Now it’s cleaned up a lot, and plays well, but unlike many that dropped it early on, I just messed around with it, until it came out with the ps5 upgrade, and then I actually played through the story. By that time, I was already extremely OP, but it was still fun to follow the story. Then I started all over again at the release of Phantom Liberty, and played from the beginning with a new build. Can’t wait to see what’s in store in the future. Both with the game, and with actual life!
Yea you just admitted that your really just obsessed with that panam character and being able to date on the game. Get a life
This game hit me harder than any other game. It's so much-so much of everything. Friendship, solidarity, and also the loneliness that comes with it. It's so freaking powerful.

There will still be nothing quite like what 2077 inspired for a while. Taking over a parking lot for a party with random people; Speakers blasting music so loud you could feel it in your bones. Enjoying the small moments of victory. Or a night of heavy rain; Inside or outside. Being surrounded by so many people, yet so alone. Until you find the people you'd bleed for, as they would bleed for you.

Gameplay-wise, it is the best thing I've played since Doom Eternal - super agility, all kinds of awesome weapons, diverse liquid-smooth combat at lightning speeds, I feel like a demigod tearing around Night City and shredding gangers with V's mantis blades and Rebecca's shotgun. And that's not even to speak of the endless mods (obviously you should be playing this on PC, not poverty-consoles). Reason why Songbird and V are in Dogtown is because Night City refuses to give them a cure they need. Night City is the main protagonist/antagonist, the characters we follow are simply vessels that allows us to further clarify our perception of the sins of the City.
@ Night City does not have a cure at all.. it is basically overfilled by sin.. by the time you get there.
Not since I first played Mass Effect had a game captured my mind, and soul like Cyberpunk 2077 did.
There’s something intangible, something I can’t quite put my finger on, that makes traveling the streets of Night City so unforgettable. To be honest it took me more time than I care to admit to even realize that there were fast travel points.
Playing through it now for the first time and can confidently say this game is a masterpiece
Been hearing a lot of good things about this game. Might finally give it a go 😏
I love your ranking videos🫶
My guy! Great recaps on the story recently
Absolute NC Legend
Its good time to buy CD Projekt stock market shares. The Witcher 4 in 2026, The Witcher remake in 2027, CyberPunk 2 in 2028 and another IP in 2030. CDR will be the king of gaming, the world leader. I think that their shares will grow even more in the coming years than in 2020 before CyberPunk.
I like Cyberpunk. But I will also wait for the game to be released and reviews are in before buying anything new.
@@rumplstiltztinkerstein I believe in CDR like no other company
I don’t know. They are getting a lot of new hires, and most of their new hiring programs don’t focus on dev quality but inclusivity. Definitely not a good sign for the future
Now that's the highest amount of copium I've ever seen.
The big 2020 scam-heist didn't teach you anything? Never pre-order, wait until release, check reviews, HOLD THEM TO THEIR PROMISES (Cyberpunk 2077 was advertised as an entirely different game initially).
Oh, and that whole DEI and ESG thing going on with CDPR? You predict they will _return_ as the _king of gaming_ ? That's foolishly optimistic of you. I'd suggest you to think about your words and look at the situation realistically.
@gruncik1841 Maybe they are all destined to end like Ubisoft eventually. Except Nintendo
Best gaming comeback of all time, one of the best games of all time

hearing the 'Goodmorning Night City' in the beginning of that song never fails to give me goosebumps. Cyberpunk is by far my favorite game of all time.
I feel bad for the people who fail to see how good this game is and i feel like too many people focused on the rough launch and not the good side when things were fixed cause this game here its a masterpiece.
I hope the next iteration can build upon this huge city and fill it with content.
It would be really a missed opportunity if CDPR just keeps building vast cities for years only to then lack the dev time to use it to its full potential.
Yeah, it’s such a waste when they keep starting over from scratch. Needs a VR mode too.
shout out to the editing team, amazing work
Whoever was in charge of "vibe" for this game just nailed it.
Ikrrrrr it’s fckin incredible
The only game I play on repeat and never, ever get bored.
Truly, a wonder of storytelling, emotion and action I never thought possible.
To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.
That's good.
Say what you will about the rocky launch, CD Projekt Red literally revived this game with the extensive hard work.
I fell in love with Cyberpunk and Night City when I first played this game. It's absolutely brilliant.
Going down in the history books as a legend in Night city is what Cyberpunk is all about. Love the game lots and it will only get better from here.
Greatest Cyberpunk video game of all time ever! Long live Cyberpunk 2077! 💚❤️

i have a feeling the time and place this game was made was in the end of an era, i dont think any sequel could possibly live up to this greatness

If the next cyberpunk doesn't have branching storylines im gonna be mad lol
The best and my favourite game I have ever played, 400+ hours
Ikrrrrrr same here
As soon as I hear the sound track I'm taking straight back in to all the awesome memories this game gave me.
Just bought this on the Steam sale and have about 8 hours in. I’m really enjoying it. It’s so good it didn’t even feel like 8 hours.
For me it was one of those games that just suck you in so much that time passes 5x faster 😭
One of the hardest game for me to put down, as I find myself kept coming back to Night City every now and then, despite having reached the conclusion of the main story. While I wish there would be some form of New Game Plus mode, I was able to just create a new character and keep playing as a form of New Game Plus for me, since I already have some prior knowledge of what happened in the main game, now I can just experiment with different builds and play styles, and see where that takes me. Though I do every so often find new random things that I never thought I'd encounter , when loading up some of my older saves, and that what kept me coming back to Night city, and I really enjoy playing this during the night, as it makes me feel even more immersed in the mood of Night City, just an ordinary person in the day, but as the night falls, I can become anyone I want to be, in Night City.
Oh my god those feels, when hear this song always remind me cruisin' through city from night to sunrise again.........
Why does this game resonate so deeply man, gonna be a cherished favorite forever.
Ikrrrrr it’s so beautiful mannnn
This game was made for me. The soundtrack, the aesthetic, the characters, the story. All of it is perfect. I wish I could experience it for the first time all over again. Much love to CD Projekt Red, you guys are real chooms.
Literally just bought this game and it’s actually so incredible 😮🔥
