Tom is the best clean vocalist in the world and at the beginning he wasn't even supposed to sing. They just needed a singer and he did it and never took any vocal lessons to this day because he just wants to be himself and let nobody influence his style of singing. He did a shit load of guest appearences as well. All the Evergrey songs are a mirror of where he is in life. Everyone can relate to them differently and everyone should interpret what they think of what the song is about themselves, to say it in Tom's words:)
sorry to be offtopic but does someone know a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my password. I love any tricks you can give me!
It's about time someone did a reaction to Evergrey. This band deserves MUCH more exposure than they get. Hopefully this will get them some new fans. Tom is an amazing vocalist, one of the best in the business. Now waiting for "In Orbit". Their duet with Floor will blow you away. One more suggestion is "The Paradox of the Flame", a duet with his wife Carina (also very beautiful video clip). And if you want to see more of their heavy side, check out "My Allied Ocean". Enjoy!
Uh-oh! This is very good! Why haven't I heard about them earlier? Damn! Reminds me a little bit of Dream Theater (surprise, surprise) :D Very good music comes fom Sweden. I love The Flower Kings, a prog rock band, they've been around over 20 years too. Thanks for this reaction, that was definitely worth it :)
HA! I knew you'd love Evergrey. Amazing artists and people. Even if it's just for your personal listening, check out Disconnect and tell me what you think. Now I'm going to watch this video :)
It's so much space in this song. Tom has beutifull, calm and mesmerizing voice. Try Evergre - In orbit (oficial music video), it will be nice surprise for You. I hope that Your technical problems will be end soon. Take care about Yourself.
There was a time when the drummer Jonas and guitarist Henrik left for a couple of years. They came back for the Hymns for the Broken album in 2014. The last three albums have followed a single concept. You have to check out everything but especially the last three albums. The line-up has been relatively steady other than that one shake-up. They have had a few different bass players. I could go on. By the by, I'm not Evergrey 4Life but I bet I love them just as much. :)
Shirley Cairo Hey! I don't think anyone can love this band more than I do lol, jokes aside! Thanks for mentioning that, I didn't point that out in my comment! Tom said there are not going to be any more break-ups because this lineup is perfect for the band!
@@evergrey4life955 Hey my brother from another mother :) I've been trying to tell people the wonders of Evergrey for years. I'm like an obnoxious little televangelist. Keep up what you're doing. Someday everyone will know what they've been missing.
Ah, Evergrey...been listening to them for zonking years. Best post break up band in the world. They did a live DVD, A Night to Remember, and from that one you can pick almost anything. My suggestion would be, As I Lie Here Bleeding ( ua-cam.com/video/P5TwepuezZQ/v-deo.html ).
Hey bro!! You must react to "At Days Ends" song by the band Redemption, this song lasts almost 25 minutes, highly recommended, it has the perfect nuances, the perfect music changes, the perfect melodies, the lyrics are perfect!!!... listen to it and tell me what you think of that great song and I would also like to hear your impressions about the music and especially the voice of Ray Alder, Greetings from Costa Rica!!!
Apart from a featured certain someone I honestly think In Orbit is one of their weaker songs. I'd love to see something like The Masterplan, Recreation Day or Ambassador.
Dude, you put me on a spot here. A Silent Arc is probably my favourite of all time but after that I would probably choose: A Secret Atlantis, The Fire, A Touch Of Blessing, King Of Errors, Disconnect. They can definitely change over time but I think those songs are my favourites at the moment.
Thanks for the support man! :)
Love your sound! I need to see you guys live, once everything will be back to normal ;) Cant wait for the next reviews.
All the best,
Johnny

Play Evergrey “Disconnect!” Who’s the back ground singer? 😏🤩
I was bummed you didnt react to in Orbit. Next time I hope!
Donald Campbell well I think I'm responsible for this:)

GeeKAdemics if I had to rank the song In Orbit although it is an amazing song, for me it would probably not even be in the top 20
@@evergrey4life955 I love everything I've heard from them. Don't know how I missed them. Give me your top 5 and I'll check those out.
