Thanks Jonathan..
Thank you.
I saw a few new antennas too but few really new innovative things from the mainstream suppliers.
I've built most of the QRP Labs kits. Ordered the QMX as soon as I saw it. They're just great fun to build, and in the case feel like a proper commercial bit of kit you'd have no worries about chucking in a rucksack and walking up a hill. One point to note is that people seem to have experienced blowing the finals if there's not a good match on the antenna. Still, as they're BS170 mosfets, it's cheap as chips to replace them.
Han’s stuff just keeps getting better. The QMX, which I ordered as soon as it was available on the site, is the closest I have gotten to a MtTopper yet.
Nice one Jonathan, thank you. 🙂 I like the idea of yellow co-ax; it might stop me tripping over my feedlines when i'm /P! 😆 73!
The usual hype with Hamvention and in many respects it delivered. ICOM/Kenwood/QRP labs announcing new products. The biggy for me was Kenwood as I thought, along with many others, we were witnessing their demise from the Amateur market. We now need to see what the event in Japan announces or maybe not as the US market is huge and probably dominates the world. The new RigExpert looks quite something. Thanks for posting 73 Mike
Jonathan it's great seeing you buddy always enjoyed your videos I used to watch you 10 years ago such a great company you work for I wish you won't pack up and come to the USA 👍
Thanks Joe, but I left the radio store 18 months ago! 73!
cheers for the roundup Jonathan, one day I will invest in a rig expert but my £25 nano vna refuses to fail.
I feel the same Stu. My old MFJ does all I need it to do for now.
