- In today's episode, we're visiting the Celtic Cup in Tullahoma, Tennessee to try some Celtic fare for St. Patrick's Day. Later in the day, we stopped by a unique soda shop called, Sundrop Shoppe. Join us, as we showcase some o of the menu items at these two establishments in Tullahoma.

My husband lived in Tullahoma in the early 80’s..of course, long before we ever met. I’ve been reminding him I would like to visit this town..and of course, stop in at this unique cafe. I saw a video on Tennessee Crossroads a few days ago on this shop. Thanks for sharing your visit..

Happy St. Patrick's Day ya'll!! That Ruben!! YUM! I have never had lamb. I need to try it at some point. I knew something was up with the tea when Jennifer didn't give us a review on it. All of those pastries looked amazing! I love Sundrop! My Granny and Grandaddy did too, and always had it available to give to us. It holds so many special memories of times drinking it while sitting on the porch and just enjoying the day. I want to look up the recipe for Sundrop cake. I bet that is good! If you can find it at a good steakhouse, that's usually the best - especially if they serve it with some jelly. The sweet tea was very plain and not very sweet. The lack of ice didn't help it either, but the food sure was good. That's so great to hear that you enjoy Sundrop too. We hope that you can find a good Sundrop cake recipe. The potato soup looked rich and thick - just how I like it. I bet the Reuben went perfectly with the soup. The prices seemed really reasonable to boot. The ice cream shoppe looked amazing, and the dog sitting in the car topped it off. Next time I'm through the area I will stop for the soup and finish with the ice cream and Sun Drop! I love The Celtic Cup!! I live about an hour away, but I've been many times. If I had to guess, I'd say the tea had ice, but it melted quickly. Especially if it was fresh tea. They don't leave the ice out on purpose.

What is cool is that this all looks semi healthy! Love the healthy food as well. Its always good to hear a good price these days because eating out is outrageous now.

I live here on Tullahoma. Pass this place alot thought it was just a coffee shop. The restaurant piggies place is right next door its always my go to. May stop in for lunch one day but definitely need iced tea.

You’re in my old stomping grounds. I haven’t been back to Tullahoma in years. I and my mom lived there for over 15 years. I have been to the Celtic cup.
That's really neat, Robin. We had no idea that you were from Tullahoma. What are some of your favorite things to order from the Celtic Cup? We thought that the food was great.
@@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV I couldn’t tell you. I think we only went a few times. We have been gone from there since 2016 and now live in Collierville, Tennessee.

Their soup was so delicious. The Dubline Coddle is perfect for cold weather. McAlister's sure does have some great tasting tea. Sundrop is similar to Mountain Dew but with a lot more citrus flavor added to it. It's really good an the Cherry Sundrops are just as delicious. We hope that you're having a wonderful week, Carla!

Great looking restaurant/food. However comparing haggis to meatloaf is a stretch considering haggis is comprised of beef and lamb innards.

Try Dixie Lee diner. It’s in Monteagle. I went a few weeks ago and it is such a cute place. The food and service was good.

@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV depends on the day and time.. for breakfast try the Sunrise Burger or Banana Foster French toast.. some of the best lunch specials are Smothered Chicken, Mississippi Roast, or the Friday Fish fry.. regular lunch menu, it's hard to beat the Open-faced Roast Beef.. Katie and Wylder are the best.
