The reason this restaurant was made is very sad. When the colonel sold his company, the people he sold it to started cutting corners and lowering the quality of the the chicken, to the colonel’s dismay. He had to make this restaurant to keep his original recipe alive.

Greetings Brent, Jennifer, Gentry and Henry! Happy Sunday and Happy Mothers Day! Sorry to have missed the live yesterday. Didn't do anything special this weekend. My brother and I did go to Cracker Barrel this evening for dinner. Did some shopping there after dinner. Found Hydrox Cookies. Was Godsmacked. Bought those and three specialty sodas. Hope y'all have been able to escape all this terrible weather that's been happening of late. Have been under more that a few Tornado Watches of late happy nothing has come of them. Have a trip to The Kansas City Zoo scheduled for the Memorial Day weekend. Will try to tour the new aquarium there too if we can. Can't wait. Have you gotten to Danville, KY yet? Still recommending Burke's Bakery and Deli if you get hungry while visiting. All kinds of pastries and sandwiches to be had. Enjoy the rest of your evening and sleep sweet.

Love Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! And I live on the West Coast. Will be there in October for the Craftsman's Fair at the Convention Center. Highly recommended if you are into that sort of thing. I purchase gifts for an entire year and ship it all home.

I know it's random but, you got to come to Gallatin Tennessee to try this restaurant called Fowl Play Hot Chicken. I heard some people saying they have the best food ever, and they were right. It might be pretty far from you, but when you try it you won't regret it. They even have Homemade Kool-Aid!!!

We have one in Chattanooga on the north shore of the Tennessee river that we enjoy. A lot of times they have 100 dollar gift cards at Costco for it for 75 bucks. That’s cool Jennifer grew up growing to church nearby

The sausage gravy there is AWFUL! What self-respecting southerner puts onions & garlic in their breakfast gravy!? Everything else is edible, but the sausage gravy has kept us from returning for breakfast...

When they brought out that gravy… I was like, somebody didn’t cook that correctly, it’s greasy! Then you went on to talk about it. Yeah, I think Gatlinburg is a tough one for breakfast! A lot of competition! And let’s be honest, it’s not inexpensive. Sure, you get all you can eat, etc… but still. Id rather spend the $ on a dinner. But then, I’m not much of a breakfast person on a daily basis. Anyway , thanks for sharing and good revue. I thought y’all were nice and if Paula sees this, I’m sure she’d be happy to know etc. I grew up in small business and had my own for over 15 years. I was aways receptive if anyone had a problem, because I’d not know otherwise! It wasn’t food industry and I didn’t really ever have much, but still… it has to be tough for restaurants. Around here, on NC side of smokies, it’s kind of a like or lump it attitude and we have gatlinburg prices. So I’ve stopped going places , after giving many opportunities. I can count on one hand the ones I continue to give my business to. Anyway- love your videos! Sorry to ramble… the times we live in and economy and st everything really spawned a lot of thoughts from me on this one. I pray the world gets better so thst your children and their children and on… can have a nice life. If not, God is coming soon, and I’m okay with that - His will be done.
