The intermeshing mixer with variable clearance G3 type ITM-CV is a highly performing machine that offers the possibility to control and modify the distance between the rotors before and dur-ing the mixing cycle, giving to the technologist an additional variable to optimize the mixing pro-cess. The possibility to change the distance between the rotors affects various parameters such as the shearing stress, the pressure inside the mixing chamber, the amount of energy trans-ferred to the compound and, consequently, the characteristics of the process (temperature, power, cycle time, etc.) and of the compound (incorporation, dispersion and distribution of fill-ers as well as the control of viscosity).

Looks like the mixer we had. It was upstairs and would mix and then dump load on the mill then to cold extruder and into cart for the molding presses out on the floor. That was my last job before retiring from cooper power now Eaton from Pewaukee Wisconsin now in Mexico.
