Awesome build!!! Well done I wish Lego made display trains like this! Lego, no more Thomas the Orient Express please. Edit: Yes, I bought the Harry Potter set and re built as an engine/tender display. Id love to your take on this, Legomanufaktur
I built the locomotive in 2020. It took around 5 months (but there were like two or three projects running in parallel, cant remember) A lot of time went into the valve gear. The first prototype even had adjustable valve timing, by turning the wheel in the cab, which was removed later) I don't plan to submit the model but if demand is high enough, I might create some instructions.
@@legomanufakturThat's a suitable amount of time for such a polished model. VTEC train lol. Even if you do not produce instructions, a short tutorial build for some of the mechanisms would be very welcome!

Hands down, best looking BR moc.
The functionality, detail, and use of pieces both new and old is brilliant!
thanks mate!
@@legomanufaktur I honestly wish there was a link to the instructors for this beauty.
I wish Lego would make this a set, I'd love to have such a beautiful and functional model in my desk!
Would love to pay you for the instructions! Beautiful job!

I wish this was a real set. I would want to buy this.

great work! Did you saw BR52 from COBI? If yes, what do you think about it?
Excuse me, what blocks were used to build the trusses? Because I can't find them on Bricklink.
Super Modell bei einer 12Wide, denke ich. Mich würden einige Maße interessieren. Länge, Breite, Höhe, Spurweite, Gewicht, Bauteile....

Just like the Cobi version but better
Sieht richtig gut aus besser als die
Cobi 52 ziger 👍

I have a sneaking suspicion that that train can’t take lego track curves
definitly not, with all the Flanged Wheels, it seems to have a wider Gauge too, its a pure display model far boger than Minifig scale
Plans please
I wonder if it’s bigger than the combo model.
will this run on normal rails?
I've been waiting for this video 🤤
How long did development of the MOC take? And any plans to submit to lego ideas or bricklink designer program?

@@legomanufakturI'd appreciate instructions and I think a lot mode people would appreciate them also.
Fantastic model!
Another vote for instructions please. Plenty in the comments too - any plans to issue some?
Are there instructions for this?
I'm working on them. Should be done by mid August.
