Saying a DEI hire carries the implication that the person did not qualify and they put them there anyway. DEI means to select a person as or more qualified but also a minority for the position. The norm used to be that regardless of qualifications the white person got the position, so a lot of minorities that were as or more qualified were passed up. I explain to people who try to use that term what it means, because when they say DEI there is an implicit negative connotation that is completely unjustified.

I saw a clip of a video. He did a couple years ago as governor calling out, I think it was Ford for using a cheap car part. Fortunately, the debate showed the true nature of Biden, he was forced to drop out and we got a real candidate. So we have already avoided 2016 by putting forth the better candidate.
Then Biden shouldn't have stepped down. Harris as the nominee just guarantees a repeat of 2016. The left won't vote for her any more than they would for Hillary. The DNC needs to get much better candidates.

Saying a DEI hire carries the implication that the person did not qualify and they put them there anyway. DEI means to select a person as or more qualified but also a minority for the position. The norm used to be that regardless of qualifications the white person got the position, so a lot of minorities that were as or more qualified were passed up. I explain to people who try to use that term what it means, because when they say DEI there is an implicit negative connotation that is completely unjustified.

While I certainly agree Project 2025 is an extreme and immediate threat to U.S. democracy, just having access to a copy of it (readily available on line) doesn't mean people are going to read, study, and understand it.
What the news media _can_ do is point out some of the worst, and easiest to explain, sections of it. I'm all in favor of well informed voters. However, hitting them with too many facts and details at once causes them to tune out.

I saw a clip of a video. He did a couple years ago as governor calling out, I think it was Ford for using a cheap car part. It was a connecter of some sort and he explains that he can get a replacement component at Prince auto and then demonstrated how to fix it. I swear I thought I was listening to my dad. Tim Walz will be the country’s dad/grandpa.
I also noticed that the VP is the DEI candidate in this instance. White, male, senior citizen, veteran, woke, and is qualified for the job. He checks all the boxes. Luckily for us, VP Harris picked a well qualified DEI hire unlike her opponent's choice of Shady. Shady is not a quality DEI hire nor does he have enough experience. Of course all Shady has to do is do as he's told by the orange candidate who is unqualified to even be dog catcher. 😉💯.
