Glad you enjoyed it Gino, and yes you gotta come try Spec Miata one day - smiles for miles, and as you know, with age comes the cage. In my case I raced motocross in my 20's. Broke most of my bones, multiple surgeries and a 10-day coma. Then in my 50's started racing cars and ZERO injuries. But if you love bikes you cannot stay away, and here I am in my mid 10's racing cars and bikes, and last year I fulfilled a child hood dream by completing the Baja 1000 on a bike!!! I will always have bikes in my garage and I will never have enough bikes, just sayin!!!
thank you Tucker, that is precisely the point of posting these videos, to encourage others to come and join in the fun that we experience every race weekend! It really is a very special place for us all!
Thanks for posting. Always enjoy your races. Wondering what happened around 20:20 on the video. Tightly bunched in the turns, but as soon as the track straightened, two cars in front of you just rolled away. I assume everyone was flat out there. Is this just an example of how some cars are just faster than others?
Thank you Marc, much appreciated. Make no mistake there is quite a disparity between the cars in our field at the moment, but what you see at 20:20, is a bit more complicated and that makes it look worse than it is. The two cars ahead, arguably the fastest cars in our class, get hooked up in a bump draft quickly on exit out of T8, while and I am dragging my brakes for the car behind to catch me and get hooked up, so that gap really opens up
Why are SM and SSM in the same race? (Supercharged SMs). Unless the extra speed in the middle (but importantly, not at the beginning) of the straights are a quantum phenomenon. There should be different trophies per class. You finished second.
I think those were green (LEDs often show up weird in video), though the supps mentioned nothing about lights. Danny did pass under yellow at 6:23, though, with at least a couple of others behind him committing the same infraction. Race officials either didn't report (too few marshals to see it?) or took no action...
Went from 9th to 4th in just 4 corners the very first lap it starts to rain 🏆 Adjusted your line better than anyone Was the engine running a bit hot at ~190 even while leading? Anyways, great race see you soon! (forecast has rain on Sunday!!!)
Hi Chuck, yes it looked good but I inherited positions when things went bad for Elivan and Todd. But a I do appreciate the props! Gauge over reads by about 10F
This was cool! similar lines to a motorcycle, but we don't use as much curb. And no hand signals. Gotta try this one day.

Danny good work. Your advice applied in real world worked great. Keep the videos coming I hope I'll see you at the NASA national race in Laguna Seca.

Have to start running rocket fuel again (like in the old days) to keep up haha.
