Mad respect for reviewing a song most would’ve never even given a chance. It is deep dark stuff, but when your LIFE is deep and dark, brutally honest music like this saves lives. To hear someone express their own struggles and pain so clearly through their music makes the ones struggling feel not alone...as a teen ( I’m almost 50 now😂) these kind of songs ( Fade to Black by Metallica was MY song) made me think to myself “ if they made it through this, I can make it too” Music is a huge source of strength!! Thank you for all you do🤗
This is my favorite Korn song but Korn as a band really isn't that strange to listen to comparatively at least. I can't imagine someone giving you a dirty look for listening to this song. The song "Daddy" is another thing entirely tho I'd hope someone would give me a dirty look for listening to that.
One of my all time favorite Korn songs. Though, being honest, Korn has always been a band I love. EDIT: Jonathan Davis has gone through some shit. Some serious shit, and it shows in the music. There is nothing fake about the pain that echoes across his music.
Korn had the Georgia Dome shaking when they played there with Kid Rock and Metallica. The only time that building was shaking all night. I've been a Korn fan since.
All the times people would shit on Korn when I'd say they were my favorite band. All the bands they said were better are either gone, or have vanished into obscurity. Korn is still here, still putting out solid records, and they do not disappoint live.
Nice reaction Jamal, as always. Are yes, the ‘boom boom clap’ rhythm is very similar to “We will rock you”. In fact, during live shows they mix in a few lines and chorus of “We will rock you”. Keep it up mate
I loved hearing you totally get the song and you were singing along. Great reaction to a great band. One of my all time favs and has been since the beginning
Been a lifetime fan of Korn, great song choice indeed! Thank you for refreshing our ears with these classics, and for bringing smiles and positivity to our days 🙏🏻✨ You might already have some tunes in mind, but here’s a short list of some other great songs if you’re looking for more: Falling Away From Me Got the Life Shoots and Ladders Somebody Someone Here to Stay One More Time Counting On Me Did My Time Another Brick In the Wall (Pink Floyd Cover) There’s so many more, but these are some favorites of mine. Have a wonderful day! 👍🏻
I remember listening to this CD on my CD Walkman to and from school along with my other angsty CDs. I don't regret a thing. Those discs got me through a lot of shit in middle and high school. We might get over some of the angst, but a Lilliputian still remains within us.
Brian "head" Welch put out a documentary about his addiction, finding God, and raising his daughter while still being in korn. The documentary is called Loud, Krazy,Love .... I totally recommend it....
I’m not a Korn fan at all but this song is brilliant. The first time I heard this one I just couldn’t sit still and Bob my head. Such a strong groove and I love how they let the song breath. Particularly when they transition into the chorus.
i dont know if you remember the rap group from the mid 2000's, korn actually did a song mashing this with DFB lean with it rock with it, which they collabed called coming undone wit it
Great song, I love your reaction to it. I never would have known about this song except my friend always asked me to play it on the jukebox for him. R.I.P. Greg. You are missed. Sorry your demons got the better of you.
you tripping bro .. this was surely not one of their last great albums its was a wild time when this came out, even wilder than usually when they put out music but this was in it´s entirety one of the weakest stuff, not bad don´t get me wrong
One of my favorite KORN songs. They're a phenomenal band live. I've seen them a dozen or more times. 1st few times when they were an opening act, not yet headliners. Excellent every single time! 🤘🏻
I've been watching your videos about mexican music, and dude, I cannot recommend you enough to listen to "Kumbala" by La Maldita Vecindad y los hijos del quinto patio. That's just a straight masterpiece.
🤘💕loved this... hadn't heard it for a while but it's one of my all-time favorites, and your reaction was awesome, I just adore you Jamal! KoRn is one of those special bands like Metallica that really let's us rage and heal across the world together. BLIND is really great too if you haven't done it already, live or recorded they're both cool but live is way way better at Woodstock, have a great day💚🌻
KORN THE BAND OF MY J.R. HIGH YEARS MISS THE SOUND AND DRUMS OF DAVID WHAT A SOUND THEY HAD AND HAVE THANKS FOR SHARING JAMEL_AKA_JAMAL ✌🏼& LO💚E MY BROTHER
Yours was the first channel I'd seen to break free of doing the same thing, the same playlist as every other brand and you heard a lot of great music doing so. I dare you to do the same with metal culture, break free of the commercialized, mainstream goo and do a deep dive into metal music.
This is about the only Korn song I like. It is a great song choice. You made so much sense, Jamel, when you said how deep this song was and how much he must've been going through and that was years ago, and to just imagine all the heavy stuff people are going through today. It's a disturbing thought, and you gave some great advice. Thanks for this reaction!
Every other time I search a tune I gotta hear... there's Jam-All * Everything Korn (almost) is deep:; the man has been thru it, BAD bad. And we love them. Most have become born again Christ believers
This is the band that got me through high-school and trying to commit suicide myself....knowing others go through similar situations abd have gotten through it is what got me through it
I'm sure someone will recommend it, but "Daddy" is a Korn track worth experiencing, if only once. "Dirty" and "Kill You" are other really dark ones as well.
This isn’t really related to this vid but I can’t even fathom being at Woodstock 99 when korn went on, plus the non stop partying all day and being at the rave all night. 🤯🤯🤯
Speaking of Alice in Chains. Try Mad Season Long Gone Day with Mark Lanigan. Layne Staley is lead singer. Jerry Cantrell also has some Solo work. Also Maynard James Keenan's other bands are good. Puscifer and perfect circle. It will grow on you. Or some of Tools latest album.
I used the Korn video back in 2005 to show my therapist what living with Bipolar Disorder was like for me. WAS like. I haven't had thoughts of suicide since 2001, and I've been clean and sober for more than 6 years. So happy you reviewed it! Any chance I can interest you in another dark yet cathartic song I still listen to occasionally? Try Chop Suey! by System of a Down
My favorite Korn song is Here to Stay but I may be switching. I have never heard this song before. Is it old or new? And if it's an old song, where was I? Phenomenal
homie really went through a lot man, like really it's not even worth mentioning cause it's fucked up, so he definitely turned to "demons" or hatred in life from certain experiences in the end you realize the worst part is that the "numbing" these drugs, and the crowds of people you might end up interacting with when you no longer care about "society" tends to also tear you apart from their own vices super powerful stuff, but that's what's amazing about art and music
Like horror movies? Horror music videos with messages? Mushroomhead We are the Truth AND Qwerty will, as one said, scare COVID-19 away. MH 30 years strong.

Twisted Transistor is another good one you might like that has a similar vibe.
One of my favorites, yes indeed check it out!
Korn had the Georgia Dome shaking when they played there with Kid Rock and Metallica. The only time that building was shaking all night. I've been a Korn fan since.
Korn has stood the test of time...they're nothing short of legend, pure legend
All the times people would shit on Korn when I'd say they were my favorite band. All the bands they said were better are either gone, or have vanished into obscurity. Korn is still here, still putting out solid records, and they do not disappoint live.
Korn got me through some dark tough times. One of my #1 bands.
Nice reaction Jamal, as always. Are yes, the ‘boom boom clap’ rhythm is very similar to “We will rock you”. In fact, during live shows they mix in a few lines and chorus of “We will rock you”. Keep it up mate

"Never Never" is another great choice...!
"Twisted Transistor"
"Make Me Bad"

I'm 67, and have never heard this song...I LOVE IT!
Great song, I love your reaction to it. I never would have known about this song except my friend always asked me to play it on the jukebox for him. R.I.P. Greg. You are missed. Sorry your demons got the better of you.
I saw Korn live along with Powerman 5000
System of a Down

Alone I Break was always the Korn song I could most identify with...
See You On The Other Side was the last of the great Korn albums. Alot of Great songs on this album. Great reaction vid. Thanx
you tripping bro .. this was surely not one of their last great albums

whoa now! You done brought up AIC so now you got to do another reaction to them!
Probably my favorite Korn song! I just love the groovy beat. 🤘
Oh yeah, a lot of Korn songs are very relatable to people everywhere. He sings with feeling and heart. You should definitely do more of them.
"Thoughless" would be the best next choice for Korn
YESSSSS! THANK YOU
One of my favorite KORN songs. They're a phenomenal band live. I've seen them a dozen or more times. 1st few times when they were an opening act, not yet headliners. Excellent every single time! 🤘🏻
One of their very best Jamel, finally you did it.
great comments, love the reaction, so glad you take the time to experience all types of music
I've been watching your videos about mexican music, and dude, I cannot recommend you enough to listen to "Kumbala" by La Maldita Vecindad y los hijos del quinto patio. That's just a straight masterpiece.
I recently binge watched their songs (still have a lot to listen to). This is easliy their best song.
🤘💕loved this... hadn't heard it for a while but it's one of my all-time favorites, and your reaction was awesome, I just adore you Jamal! This and Blind are my favorite Korn songs

Nice. I lifted weights to this album in my garage for 7 years. Every other day. Always got me ready for the pain.
This is the band that got me through high-school and trying to commit suicide myself....knowing others go through similar situations abd have gotten through it is what got me through it
Queen of korn-we will come undone
I never actually listened until now thank you 👍
My go-to song when my days are bad or when my kids pushes that LAST nerve. Lol I play this and they know not to bother me 🤣
Well said brother. Perfect review 👍!
My fav Korn song.
I'm sure someone will recommend it, but "Daddy" is a Korn track worth experiencing, if only once. "Dirty" and "Kill You" are other really dark ones as well.
That's a heavy song, damn!
This isn’t really related to this vid but I can’t even fathom being at Woodstock 99 when korn went on, plus the non stop partying all day and being at the rave all night. 🤯🤯🤯
I always said this song felt like one of those giant balloons with the rubber band just getting bounced around!
What looks so strong is so delicate
QUEEN? Queen never sounded like Korn does!!!!

My favorite song by them. Some of my friends think this song is too generic, but it speaks volumes to me.
My favorite korn song opening
You should hear the remix they did of this song with dem franchise boys. It's called coming undone wit it. You would definitely love it.
TWISTED TRANSISTOR music video for the love of hip hop and comedy, Jamel!
Cool dudes to hang out with. I got high with them back in the day when they played Cal Poly SLO CAL.
My favorite Korn song is Here to Stay but I may be switching. I have never heard this song before. Is it old or new? And if it's an old song, where was I? Phenomenal

My man, wtf is that double neck SG model on your wall? That is dope!!!
Korn is probably the most unique, beloved and somehow underrated band you will ever hear. Just wait until you hear Rotting in Vain...
100% my brother

Hi ! i think they sound like the band LIVE !
Haha this should be good! 👍🏻🌽
What do you think about the H.R Giger mic stand?

Another music video that they did that has some very deep lyrics and a weird music video "Ya'll Wanna See A Single??"
Don’t think you’ve covered them yet, but you may like Breaking Benjamin. Check out Sooner or Later or Breath.
