- It's been a while since I have posted (or had the camera and all the boys together at the same time) but when I heard giggles coming from the kitchen, I knew I had my chance! So, here's six minutes of joy with all the boys together! JJ is learning how to treat the boys with respect and when to quit while I am SO proud of Leo for not running away from JJ anymore. As a matter of fact, when we have gotten out of bed in the morning, but JJ is still sleeping, Leo will often be found right there at the end of the bed with him! I'm so glad they're becoming friends and JJ is learning how to differentiate between the comfort level of Max to Leo. Good boys all!

This video warmed my heart. Reminds me of when I was a "youngin" with the two Chows that I grew up with, Max and Coque. They were with me from my birth up until I was about 10-11. Those two are the reason why I LOOOOOVE Chow Chows today ❤️ I'm 22 now, and I miss them dearly :(
I thought you just had the two Chows I didn't kniw that you had a son, or is JJ a grandson? Oatmeal baths also help with hotspots, chewing on them makes it worse. try telling a Chow that though right? Lol. Leo and Max have gotten so big and so darn beautiful. I've seen all your movies on the boys since you've had them. How old are the boys now because I can't remember when I started watching? Have a great day. 😁
No, indeed! JJ is our miracle baby! facebook.com/Babymater-242220025914888/ The boys have been fabulous with him ... no jealousy over him just over the food he drops on the floor! The boys will be five in September and JJ will be four in June. Amazing how our little family has changed!

cherriemater ha ha I bet the boys just love that JJ drops his food on the floor. I really love how you teach JJ to love and respect the boys. I really like how the boys seem to understand that JJ is a small child.
I wondered what happened, because I hadn't seen anymore videos of Leo or Max. Then boom here we are 5 years later and here is Leo and Max and JJ your child. Congrats!! to you and your husband by the way.
I love how both Max and Leo are so kind to your child, and JJ loves them too.

Thanks Arlene. I will try. We're getting ready to move so there is a lot of chaos but I will do my best! Especially if I can get all three of them having a zoomy! Yes, JJ does the zoomies now with them!

Why Thank you! We love it here and for the time-being we live in the only house across from the park (Charlton Township Park). It's been great seeing our little JJ growing up in the park. We used to run the boys when they were little in the Softball field. They still have the big July 4th Celebration ... so you'll have to come back!
Does leo not like to be touched much?
Leo is very high-strung and JJ's energy seems to bother him. That being said, Leo has mellowed out quite a bit as he and JJ begin to develop some trust. But we've had to work quite a bit with JJ to get him to respect Leo's need for "space" and to understand that what Max will allow, Leo will not. It's amazing the progress we've made in the last four months, come to think about it. We've moved to a new house and JJ has more responsibility (giving them treats, filling their water, etc.). Leo is beginning to see JJs role as higher than he in the family order and I think this has helped Leo accept touches from JJ. However, as with any sibling, Leo will growl if JJ oversteps the boundaries (at which time we step in to ensure both Leo and JJ are safe ... something important to remember for any chow chow owner with small children!) Our new home has carpet and I have found Leo lying on it up-side-down many a time and he will allow JJ to pet his tummy if JJ moves quietly and slowly. I think Leo thinks the carpet is grass!!!
