Fascinating, Kaelin. Especially liked the connection your friend, Jackie, made for you with the bones of four-footed animals.

Thank you for this close up look at an object which would otherwise go unnoticed in that crowded case. I think that these takeouts are the only way we the public can actually see the details of the carving. I really appreciate these short but - to me - important introductions to such a wide variety of art.

These daily talks are no less valued now, after so many days of our shelter in place status, than when you first introduced them many "takeouts" ago. I love the few minutes every day to view and examine the many different forms of art. Truly they lift our moods and have taught many of us so much about art and Dr. Barnes that we would otherwise have never known. Today was no exception. How interesting to think about carving a leg bone from a 4 legged animal into something so exquisite. Thank you once again for elevating my thoughts on just another day.

Very nice presentation; a thorough job of taking us back in history. You put this piece in a context that was heretofore an unexplored time and space for me. Thank you..

I love these sessions and look forward to them every day I am sad on Sat. that I must wait until Monday to get engagesd with another artist and painter through the eyes of the staff. This project has helped me to demystify Barnes ansambles(sp?) whech overwhelmed me when visiting the country house museum and the Philadelphia Barnes.. It will be so pleasant to go back to the Barnes and visit my new friends in the galleries. You have helped me weather this crazy time Thank You !!!

Thank you, there's always so much to see, always something more. That's what's great about the Barnes. If you can someday talk about the Juan de Flandes, I'd love to know more about it too. Fascinating to visit this way.

Wow. Kind of a stretch interpretation of an art piece. But she did a lot of research and thought into it.
