Solid guide. Definitely much better than most of the ones I've seen and I even learned the hammer throw tech for starting with more hp. I do wish people would talk more about the role/job of specific characters though. I find Thor to be best at flushing people out from high ground (i.e Hawkeye/punisher/moonknight etc.) you literally shut down certain characters much like a Hawkeye or hela does to ironman. I feel he's great at peeling too. He's okay as a diver but only with support imo, sucks at solo tanking/front lining. But he shines during massive brawls in OT. The enemy team is within melee range and you can pop your f ability to get your damage ticks and you don't have to worry about escaping since your healers are close.
Learned new things from your Cap breakdown. You’re right, most people don’t touch on some of these. 2 other tips I have: 1. Hammer throw during 1v1 duels to keep getting +100 shields. 2: if you need to cancel your dash but can’t wait, aim straight down. This can keep you in position.
I think Thor may just be my tank until new characters come in. I'm ok with Venom, barely touched Strange, but what I like with Thor is that Awakening Rune. Man is a buster tank. I'll treat him like a Magik or Panther. The pre-engagement hammer throw is a good tip when waiting. Usually I'll dash on one or two in the back, or find someone who's been diving in our back line. The dash is a bully on GAWD. Every second or so being able to dash not for your benefit but landing multiple on a single target like a healer can not only do damage, but cause panic by forcing them to do something they don't, in moving or being moved rather. I did get a dash kill once where I pushed someone off a ledge lol. But if I target I'll dive, if it lands and you swing you get 1 Thor Force back, immediately throw the hammer, then the lightning field for the chip and slow. By this point I'm at the max armor boost and the target is around half or lower. I can hammer them down from there, but if they have an ally, Awakening Rune just becomes so intimidating. The first 4 swings are more than enough to finish your first target. If they had an ally come in, the last 6 swings if it doesn't make them run for heals, it puts them down. Having a reliable healer is great too if you have to walk backwards towards your team after you jump into the fray. When it comes to the Ultimate, I mostly use it defensively to secure an area like in Domination, or if we manage to make the team stagger I'll use it when they group together on their way back. Favorite way to use it is dashing upward toward like Iron Man, and using it in the air so your nuts are actually in the Iron Man's face as you DUNK on them and the entire team.
8:16 I’ve been doing this for a long time now, everyone keeps saying Thor’s ult is bad but it isn’t. It’s not the best but it’s definitely not bad. I like to combo it with a Dr Strange ult. Easy money.
I consistently pop rune when the enemy is making a push for chip damage by the time they’re on point I’ve got it back and I’m ready to go Honestly I pop rune constatly
Tip after awakening rune you get a second or so to use the dash or hammer throw for free before they start recharging
@14:13 he could dash if he taps quickly enough

GM Thor lord, ALWAYS USE YOUR BUBBLE
this channel is a nice find, please keep making content man
Thanks man, got lots more coming!
That 200 bonus health to begin a fight is a great tip. Especially on Convoy matches when the enemy are usually grouped together.
You dont get the shield in no cooldown mode because you dont consume thor force

One thing that I realized when playing Thor is that after using your shift you can use your hammer dash immediately after if you spam it.
18:34 counter-dashing spiderman mid-air, pretty satisfying lol
I like the crosshairs, can I get a code?
@ytubeanon i did a cross hair Vid last week, it's on the channel!
