It really hasn’t. Still reminds me of 1997 when I was 11 years old . Played this cassette tape all day everyday. Still come back to this album to reminisce on a much simpler time.
Something pretty cool: There is someone out there with the exact same mentality as you listening to the same song on the same day with the same feeling.
Crazy I won a radio contest to be in this video with my friends when I was 16. Then we went to the show in msg then won a raffle that night and we met all the guys in the band. Classic never get old.
Bush was always there in the background for me. Sure I had some albums, listened occasionally. Enjoyed the science of things. But within the past year or so I rediscovered this album....it's a freaking masterpiece.
@@jasminepike5848hahaha all my girlfriends were in love with Gavin😖 and also the lead singer of Incubus Brandon...I'm sure they both had a lot of fun on tour lol... but besides his teen idol looks Bush put out two classic albums with Sixteen Stone and Razorblade Suitcase the latter being the less popular one but I think the better album song for song.
The only reason this music meant so much to you, is because it wasn't so easily accessed, as it is today. That's WHY no one is satisfied with ANYTHING anymore.
Man, takes me back to high school when it first came out and everyone rushed out to Record Town at the mall to buy the tape or CD. Damn these were great times...
Back when I was younger--and more sad/angry--this song spoke to me deeply. To me it's about shitty parents who leave their kids to fend for themselves emotionally, physically, raising themselves while their parents never take any real responsibility for their own choices and actions. Since Gavin's lyrics are usually cryptic, they leave a lot of interp to the listener. Great song. Amazing guitar tone. Haunting. The crowd shots don't fit to the music IMHO. This is a dark Grunge era song made for Gen-X "You have no right to cut me down, you were never that around" Ouch. The "contagious" he's talking about in my mind is the intergenerational damage passed down from parents to children. Until someone finally does the work to address it, the contagion will be passed down forever.

Man I've loved Bush since they first came out. This is definitely my favorite song. It never gets old. Even their new shit is so good. And Gavin never ages, he's as good as he ever was!
Love this. In my Top 5 of Bush songs. First heard this live in Saratoga in the 90s and have been hooked on it ever since. Going to see them in October.
Wow G! Out of all the times I've seen you guys I'm at a loss that Cold Contagious has never been played in my presence 😔. I truly love and appreciate this song, not only for the darkness and the loss that it has represented, but the fact that it has a light in the verses of 'deeply grounded and better off by the way' which is 100% truth. Very sad song. 😢😔 This song shows that the being wants someone to play with them, but nobody wants to be around him. Music will never be as good as it was in the 90’s. So appreciative I was a teenager at that time.
This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “City” by SLT 🤘🐺🎸
My god. This irreplaceable vibe.
This is one of those hateful songs. Love it.
THERE WILL NEVER BE MUSIC MADE LIKE THERE WAS IN THE 90s!
This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “City” by SLT 🤘🐺🎸
This song as well as
Greedy Fly are tragically under appreciated Bush masterpieces
This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “City” by SLT 🤘🐺🎸
This band was also criminally underrated.
They were never really all the way *Rock* & never really all the way *Grunge* so people weren't sure what they were!!
But they did and still play some powerful tunes , it’s been one of my top ten bands in this “genre “ for at least 25 years 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Grunge band...but is perfect 🤘😎
They got in on the John wick soundtrack , but yeah you right ..
I disagree, they were correctly rated
Classic then and classic now.. I don’t care how many year pass I will always love this song. Gavin’s voice always had a hold on me.
Band should've been bigger in the UK but atleast Canada and the USA got it.
some of the most epic stuff in history. this is one .
One of my Favs♥️♥️♥️♥️

Razorblade Suitcase is a masterpiece.
This is certainly one of the best song of the 90’s era.
When you listen to it theses days, it hasn’t aged at all.
Thanks Gavin !
It got better with age

Underrated album
Well, but we did. Didn't we...
This band has 270k subs, and one of their best songs has only 868,683 views in 10 years?
This album got me through washing dishes at Dennys for a year,. Plus others... 2007
This song comes after Glycerine. When you sit alone in your bed knowing you have to live on after whatever you lost.
Something pretty cool: There is someone out there with the exact same mentality as you listening to the same song on the same day with the same feeling.
And something else, sometimes you'll come back to a song a different day with the same feeling.
This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “City” by SLT 🤘🐺🎸
This song is a masterpiece. Razorblade suitcase is a masterpiece.
Bush is and will always be Gavin, Nigel, Dave, and Robin. Razorblade Suitcase is such a raw, and catchy album. There's some real gems on here.
