  • This place offers all you can eat tacos all day every Tuesday! It's only 19.99 and it's some of the best tacos in Orlando. Now the only thing I would say that I didn't mention above, they're pretty strict with the way it works. The put a lot of their salsa verde (its pretty spicy) and you're unable to ask without it. You HAVE to get a ground beef taco every order and you can't double up the two other tacos. All three have to be different. Besides that, it's some of the best ones in Orlando.

    Just an update as of 03/06/2024, I went back to the restaurant and spoke to the owners. There are no longer any restrictive rules or limitations of Taco meats.
    You're now able to get a non spicy sauce, hot sauce or sauce on the side. You're also able to get ANY flavor of taco and no longer are required to always have a ground beef taco with each order. \
    This includes wanting to get 3 tacos of the same meat.
    Thus, with these changes, I now believe this is one of the best Taco spots to go to as a bang for your buck in Orlando on tuesdays!!!!
    Thanks all for the feedback, interest, concerns and comments. Glad we were able to make a difference. :D

    Do these rules just apply to the Tuesday/Thursday all you can deals? Can you just order off the menu and get what you want not doing the all you can eat deal?

    • @latinchopsticks
      @latinchopsticks  3 місяці тому +2

      Yes, the rules are only applied torwards the all you can eat on Tuesdays. Unsure how things work on Wednesday all you can eat quesadillas. I’ll probably do that this Wednesday to find out and possibly record a video.

    Looks ok ! But I think they are doing a disservice by not modifying the salsa on the tacos for individuals who don’t like very spicy ! It’s $20 AYCE you should be able to modify and get what you want!

      I agree with you. I can understand some of the rules they have, but with others, they should definitely reconsider.
      Apparently the reason is because of how passionate the owners are to maintaining that real Mexico authenticity. But to me, I still think they should allow for slight modifications or have the option to have a non spicy salsa.

      @@latinchopsticks yes exactly they maybe trying to be authentic but modifying a salsa shouldn’t take away from the charcoal flavor of the meats maybe a mild pico could be better suited !

      You can eat without salsa, I have gone to eat and I order them without salsa to the tacos and they also taste delicious

    That will not be a place that I go because they force you to have their hot salsa on the tacos and I can’t eat that! 😢

    Thinking about it, it looks like this place has decided that it intending to be a Mexican place strictly for Mexicans. Only having one (very spicy) salsa, not letting you choose what salsa you want (or letting you put it on yourself from a salsa bar), and making it so difficult to get good value out of their "special" shows that they are likely not at all interested in having outsiders. Plus, the greasy queso fundido would never fly with the gringos, and they obviously don't care. So since I generally don't spend money to eat at places that make demands on their customers like that, this would have to be a pass.

      The restaurant has both meals. The American and the Mexican but more focus on the Mexican. It also has many options of sauces, it's just a matter of asking for them. I also ordered a melted chorizo cheese and believe me, the Americans also asked for it when I was there and they loved it and said that it was something different and that it was delicious. You should try the food is very tasty and different from the rest.

    How can you recommend this place? Yes, the tacos have potential, but clearly too many 'rules' for a successful guest experience. 'No changes' (salsa on the side) , 'must have 1 ground beef'... inedibley grease dessert and appetizer.
    Love your reviews, but even you had multiple issues, so they don't deserve your recommendation at this time.

      I understand all that. But despite it, it’s some of the best tasting Tacos in Orlando. That’s why I’m recommending them. I also wanted to make sure to share my experience and let people know prior to set an expectation and with hopes that if enough people go and give feedback (those in agreeance with me) then maybe they’d be willing to adjust some things. It’s a very small business and they are very new on the market so I want to help them improve and popularize with local and possibly tourist crowd.
      The flavors of these tacos are phenomenal, mostly due to the charcoal used to cool the meats. If they tweak the other things, then they’ll have an even better and more prosperous business and customers will be even happier to visit.
      Things can change and doing these videos to share delicious foods but also provide feedback for restaurants to adjust some things if needed and enough people speak up. It helps create better experiences, rather than just not go altogether.
      As for the Churro, I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt. They don’t have it on the menu anymore on their website so it may have already been removed to focus on other things or maybe they’re changing it up.
      As for the Queso Fundido, it wasn’t greasy like that. It’s mostly the oil release by the cheese. It happened in 90% of the real cheese quesos in pretty much all the Mexican restaurants I’ve visited that offer the dish. It’s part of the fat of the cheese and chorizo. It was amazing and wasn’t greasy to the taste. If that’s a concern, they also have just plain melted cheese which I’m sure would look much better for those with the concern.
      However, the fact that you commented this and in this much detail, shows your dedication to the channel and I truly appreciate your feedback and for supporting the video. Thank you so much, it means the world to me. :)

      @@latinchopsticks That begs the question: Did you actually give them feedback on any of their issues? Having unlimited tacos and then limiting them to certain kinds is being cheap. Only putting their one type of salsa on the tacos (and a lot of it) is being lazy. And offering badly-fried churros shows incompetence. So what did you say to them to help them improve and to improve the customer experience? Just saying that "you give them the benefit of the doubt" just passes the buck. They are NOT going to learn anything from your video or our comments.

    • @latinchopsticks
      @latinchopsticks  3 місяці тому +1

      @@mikeymutual5489 they will actually be watching this video and seeing the comments. I did let them know that the sauce was too spicy for the regular individual and that they should try to find another sauce that’s much more mild or just not spicy. That they should reconsider that rule they have to make the offer more appealing to a wider range of customers.
      Benefit of the doubt was for the Churros that they served me which ended up being too oily and greasy. Now it’s not even showing up on their online menu. (The one in the restaurant is the same since it’s a QR code on the table).
      Now if they don’t change anything after reading these comments and from what I may have shared with them, then only time will tell what will happen.
      They’re a very small restaurant. They just have the one location and it’s family run. Let’s hope they take my feedback and the concerns of the commenters seriously. I plan on visiting them again on Wednesday for the all you can eat Quesadillas. I’ll double down on what was mentioned in the video since the owner will be there.

      @@latinchopsticks And as for the quesa fundido, the pictures don't lie. It was swimming in a pool of grease, and that grease was *not* from the cheese, but from the chorizo. Cheese sauces (that are made properly) don't have a layer of oil on them. They obviously didn't drain the fat when cooking down the sausage, and that is the grease that you see. This is another execution problem that they just don't seem to care about (as it is easily fixable).
