I got all these great film looks, but no matter how hard I try to make my shots look breath-taking, they still all just look like the Walmart parking-lot that I was flying around.
It seems you’re at the Walmart at the wrong time. 5am with the street lights still on, creep it, nice and slow, keep it nice and low, horror movie style. Boom, that’ll make things much more interesting.
@@PhillipSkraba With the right color grade, we could make this work! If that smoke from the Canadian wildfires blows down here again like they are predicting, then we'll have the perfect creepy fog! Lol, you should take this on as a video-project just to prove you can! :)

Halation yes or no? I'm guessing no for drone footage but i ask as its not included in the base price.
I love halation and I use it in a lot of my drone shots, especially when sun and light sources are visible, it adds a fantastic glow.

Do you go into a shoot already thinking about your look or do you just do a trial and error after?
I usually have an idea of what I’d like something to look, but I do wing it sometimes and serendipity happens.
