@ScottyNoCap Greetings Scott my name is Caleb and I am Christian and i have been born of water and of the Spirit and abide in the Doctrine of Jesus Christ. I am glad that you have come away from alcohol and that is a blessing. I am come to ask as a Christian for i must prove all things and i hope to call you a brother and i like to ask these things when people tell me that they are Christians. May i ask you, have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed? Acts 2:4, Acts 19:6, Acts 10:44-46, Mark 16:17. And also, unto what then were ye baptized? Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Acts 19:1-7, Romans 6:3. And did you know what baptism is for? I pray that i can hear back from you in due time.

@ScottyNoCap well then praise the Lord you have received the Holy Ghost. I am not an apostolic pentecostal. I am a Christian. I don't believe in the oneness Doctrine but neither do I believe the trinity doctrine either. They are both error according to scripture. I believe the Doctrine of Jesus Christ and that is this, there One God and one mediator God and man. The man Christ Jesus. God is a Spirit and the Son of God is man and in him dwellers all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And to obey the gospel is to obey what apostles commanded in Acts 2:38. That is to be born or water and of the Spirit. Saying a sinner's prayer or just accepting Jesus or saying you believe in Jesus by saying that he is Lord is not how you obey the gospel. I ask these questions because from how you answer I can discern whether you're my brother or not and whether or not you are in the Doctrine of Jesus Christ. A man who is born of God's word would be full of joy to answer these things. It is not me interrogating you but to prove all things and if there is any error, to help show reproof by God's word and open the door for someone who has not obeyed the gospel so that they can receive the remission of sins. So if I may kindly ask again, unto what then were ye baptized?
@@brothercaleb8495 being born of water and the spirit is in John as well. A man cannot enter the kingdom of heaven without being born again with water and the Holy Spirit. And who said I’m not full of joy? I’m just asking you why you feel the need to ask a complete stranger on UA-cam these questions? If you watch more of my videos maybe you could discern if I’m lead and convicted by the Holy Spirit or not. I visited a family members apostolic Pentecostal church once and 2 people there asked me questions like this. With a look of worry and judgment on their faces if I answered wrong haha. God is the only judge my friend. Jesus told us to do only 2 things when it comes to other people. That is to love and forgive. Judging is not for us to do. And can I ask why it is so important for you to try to discern and see if you can call me your brother or not? All I did was post a video about Jesus delivering me out of the chains of alcoholism. And you feel the need to discern? And what other name would I Be baptized under? I am a CHRISTIAN. I was baptized under the name of Jesus Christ. You don’t need to prove anything to me. I’m on my own walk with Christ. Just wondering though, do you go around asking a bunch of people on UA-cam these same questions?

Im fine on my work days. I don't even drink until my days off for the most part, which is crazy how I can control it like that. I don't want to completely stop right now, just slow down tremendously. It does have a hold over me though. I've tried Jesus, books, ytube videos, meetings, and nothing has worked so far. Pray for me... 🙏 ❤
@@alexism.7712 the fact that you admit it has a hold on you is the first step. Praying about it like that is the way to go. Humbling yourself and admitting you need help and can’t do it without his help. I believe god will do it for you. Just never give up on that prayer. Ask other people to pray for you as well. 👍 I’ll pray for you myself.

My brother died from alcoholism He died a few years ago ! Maybe I can understand his mindset through you He wasn’t a Christian though I am a Christian !! I don’t know where he’s spending eternity He was abusive mentally physically but more frequently mental torture I appreciate you doing this YT Vid

I’ve been a Christian since I was 16. But when I was 25 I moved in with my family, discovered hard liquor, and it took over. It’s been eight years and I’m only now coming to terms with it. Putting the bottle down and getting my anxiety order that causes this behavior dealt with. Thank God He doesn’t let Him children go

First time coming across your channel🙂. I've really enjoyed watching you and what you've said. My story is crazy similar to yours, but as I'm sitting here watching you, I'm busy thinking about getting another drink, to be honest. Had some earlier and now I'm craving again. I have been battling this addiction for years. I am in absolute torment every single day. I am so embarrassed and ashamed, since I am a leader God has made me responsible for so many things. I thank God that I am still doing what I need to do, I'm not really messing too many things up, I'm still honest and have integrity and do well etc, but this addiction is killing me. Please pray for me. My relationship with God is a lot better these days, I have finally stepped into what He has called me to do, I am ministering, I am trying to walk in obedience as much as possible, I'm praying a lot, in the Word a lot, I'm fasting, I serve at my church, I teach people the Word, I love what I do, I love people, many people love me and are inspired, I love the Lord so much and I think about him almost 24/7, but I just can't stay away from alcohol. I hate this life. Please pray for me😢

Ive been on my knees when i quit i was like the walking dead went back to alcoholism thia time im taking all the supplements recommended. Drinking from waking to sleeping wish i had a relationship with God or Jesus ita a rough raod alone
All you gotta do is ask Jesus into your heart and surrender your life to him. Ask him for forgiveness and ask him to free you from your addictions. If he doesn’t answer right away then ask others to pray for you as well. Start reading the Bible and talking to him daily. Talk to him about everything. Get to know him and through time you will have a relationship with him. The Bible says he knocks at your door. All you have to do is open it and let him into your life. You don’t have to walk this road alone.

I tried for over a decade to give up drink. Heavy nighttime drinker but I could go 2 nights and then I'd need to drink on the 3rd night. Spent months praying for god to help me take it away. 45 days ago my prayers were answered and God delivered me from alcohol and took away my depression and anxiety away with it. I've had zero cravings. It's like I have never drank alcohol ever in my life. No way is that will power as I've not needed it, the devil has thrown so much at me to try and make me drink but he can't win because God has freed me 🙏

Thank you Scotty. Many Christians trust in their own righteous works and Jesus for their acceptance before the Lord. Sadly especially in the US, the gospel is mixed up with success, as if it's another American dream!
