Sorry to be off topic but does anybody know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my login password. I appreciate any help you can give me.
@Howard Dominick thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm trying it out now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.

I was just thinking....i wonder what happened with...boom! Nice keep it up. Love seeing these types of vids. Not a subjective look at thing but an actual fact based video. Awesome!
I do the same thing in forza with my drag cars, I typically add about .4° of positive camber bc that’s about how much i need on launch for when the car squats, works perfect.
Greg it’s so good to have you back. I watched just about binged every rebirth video waiting for another upload and my heart skipped a beat when I saw there was a new upload. Thanks for the awesome videos. Looking forward to the ones coming soon
I love how you provide real data, it’s apparent that the control arms work but seeing the temp difference was some nice real world testing- keep up the great work man
The method you used to measure the temperature across the tire is a simple version of how F1 teams fine tune their camber. Would love a follow up on this after a few laps on the track and see how the temperature is across the tire.
Dear Greg Please consider to produce an episode where you embrace Auto-Blip due to an Cable-2-DBW-Converter (as found in Peugeot 2.0hdi (306,406 Expert etc) 90 - 04) and taking care of business with brake- and clutch-switch, gearbox- and diff-ratio and the actual speed, all by mastering your MS (no, not Mara Salvatrucha!). In my (very own) opinion a car without ABS is much smoother to control at it's limits without fancy square-dance footwork (or I might have got two left feet, who knows) and the technical aspect of such an operation would be challenging and quite interesting for the most of us. Go for it!
Man I do not know you. I followed your VVT Miata build and all of the drive train work. I think about that engine a lot. Hope it is doing well. And the transmission retrofit. Good to see you alive and well. Peace.
Kudos for your measurement approach - you should be a physicist! And Greg, we understand why you have been "distracted" recently - she (Bree?) is gorgeous! Great to see you back! All the best (to all 3 of you) Rob
Brother u killed it !!!! Love the videos I’m selling my WRX for a miata. No one has done exactly what I want to do with my future miata. Dude ... 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
It's good to see you back. I'm working on getting a nb, I might have it in 2021. The first thing I'm doing is that diy megasquirt you did a few years ago. Keep up the good work. Not to sound bossy but you should go to Laguna Seca if you have the chance and bring your gear I'd love to see this beast blitzing the front straight.
Great video. Did you ever get any suspension squeak with drilling and installing grease fittings? I bought a set but am concerned about that squeak. Thanks
Love the video's, I don't mean to be THAT GUY, but here goes. Optimum rear camber for a Miata rear is 1 degree, with the driver in the car. It is good for road and track days.
Thanks man, 1° is pretty conservative, but will definitely work fine on a dual duty car. Check out 949 Racing's alignment page, they have various setups posted that have all been tested and tried on their race and street cars. Optimal camber also depends on tire compound and various other setup-specific factors 🙂
You can probably get better traction by using proper sized rims for your tires. I'm pretty sure stretching them like that affects how they hook up. The sidewalls should be pretty much straight up and down.
Awesome video Greg, I wonder how this translates to track use when loading up the rear tyres exiting corners with side-load. I have a track miata myself and I've been wondering what a good setup would be here for high power applications, and whether the stock natural camber (lowered/not slammed) is anywhere near ideal for this. Could be a topic to cover for you/something to play with if/when you track the car next. Could also do one on tyre pressures and getting the tyres to deform more for traction/how this affects heat and sidewall temp etc... pros/cons... As I've said before love this channel and always look forward to new content.
That's where temperature measurement and sidewall rollover measurement (shoe polish over the sidewall) really help. Both with setting up your camber and tire pressure!
@@TheCarPassionChannel don't get mad at ur fans for wanting more bro. Just stating the facts based on trends. I watch ur vids and likem all don't go to war with your support.
@@quincyrocker5121 Not mad, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. Since April 2017 I've always done a set of at least 4-8 videos in a row before taking a break, never just a single 🙃
what about during the steering ? ok for the straights this will be great but when you are on the corner you need that camber right ? i mean you have to measure the temp of the tyres after some b-road steering to check how good your aligment is.... just asking i dont know....
3rd gear being mystery gear could partially (mostly?) just be your tire temps. RS4's really need to be warmed up before they start sticking... although my experience is in corners at the track, I don't have enough power to stress a 245 RS4 at any temp under acceleration...
When they're cold they spin much easier. I'm mostly referring to when they're at full temperature, it's like a 50/50 shot if they'll hook. If the air is cold they spin easier for sure from dat boost
Hey Miata Dad, thanks for the video. How do you like the Paco arms after spending some time with them? I purchased the Paco arms and getting ready to install as part of a major suspension overhaul. I am a little worried about that locking nut coming loose under hard driving. Any issues with that?
I've probably got 10,000 miles on them by now, and I haven't had one of the nuts come loose once. So far so good! (It's always a good idea to check adjustment nuts like that as part of routine maintenance, like every oil change)
The LSD type doesn't matter so much as if it's a 6 or 7" ring. In the US the 90-93 1.6 diff is pretty weak and they can break at 180-200hp, sometimes people get lucky up to 250+. The 1.8 diffs are way stronger, currently running one in my car now. Open vs Torsen vs VLSD is just a performance thing, not strength 🙂
6:22 101-96=15??? I don’t think that’s right :D also how much toe-in/out are you running? Toe-out heats up the tires on the inside patch as well ( and toe-in heats up the outside).

Do you plan on increasing front downforce or creating suction for the car or is it stable enough for you at high speed?
@TheCarPassionChannel how did you get the old poly bushings out of the old arms and into the new adjustable arms... grinder?
Poly bushings are super easy to remove and install. Many can be done by hand actually

whats the weight difference between the stock control arms and the paco arms? thinking of either replacing or refreshing the one's on my mx5/miata
