Everytime I hear ellie goulding my memory shoots to this video immediately. I remember showing my mom wanting to go so badly. I still got goosebumps rewatching this now. Great video
SAME THING HERE To this day every time I hear this song I think of this video. After this I used to go to Tempest once in a while and actually got good at free running. I haven’t done that in years but I miss the passion and the memories
I remember watching this When i was 12, Im 21 now holy FUCK time goes fast. Still Cant do parkour But this shit is sick to this day. The song is iconic to this video
It's nice to know I'm not alone in the nostalgia. I remember watching LaFlair parkour as a teen and trying parkour at the back of my high school. Now I'm freaking 24. Time flies.
I just cried... This is a core memory for me, this video, this song, that stage of my teenager life practicing parkour. I was happy... And I knew/know it
There’s a couple of videos throughout the internet that had enough of an inspirational impact to shape me into to who I am today. This is one of those videos that I seem to come back to every now and then to feel the same way I felt when I first got goosebumps to make videos and shaped my creativity into what it is today.
You can come if you want to do bad. It’s in Chatsworth, California. Well this exact location at least. There is one more in California and one location in Dallas, Texas. But I personally think this location is the best one because it’s the original location.
Used to watch this video all the time back in the day. I still think of it when I listen to the music. A time when I was more innocent, a time when I was unsure. I'm 29 now. I realize that my twenties were a learning experience and now going into my 30's I know what I really need to be doing. Things will be okay, everyone. You have my word. Love you all.
I remember watching this in my old house when I was 11 and I wanted to go there so bad and I'm almost 16 now -_- jeez edit: im 22 now as of 12.13.22.. time flies 😭hope everyone is doing well!
i started freerinning 4 years ago and all i could tell you is put your mind to it and dont questioned yourself if you could do it or if your scared just go for it
+faZe soundgod I've been doing parkour for 3 years I'm not that good at it but based on what I've learned and experiences I would say that's good advise
i remember playing mirrors edge back in 2008 and then seeing this video years later..... made me fall in love with parkour. i never really knew how to break into it but here i am a decade later practicing wall runs for the first time. god damn ive been missing so much.
I remember watching this when I was like 9 years old. I'm 14 now and do ALOT of parkour to where it's an everyday thing now. And how it started was when I watched this for the first time and started becoming interested in this to where I wanted to do this.
This video changed my life. I’ve been doing everything from freerunning to trampoline and now tricking for a couple years now thanks to this video. I thought about this video today and thought I’d come check it out again. The amount I’ve learned since I first watched this video is amazing. Thank you Tempest ❤️
It's hard to believe that a second gym is opening. It seems like just yesterday they announced this one opening. Remember the old days? Before some of the guys like La Flair, back when tempest wasn't huge. It awesome to see how far they have gone and are going. This video brings back good memories!
there's an opening on the side, and even if there wasn't, my fat ass could step over those bars. the real problem is the toilets are six feet up and the urinals require hanging from the ceiling
watching this 9 years later, i don't trick anymore but this brings back so many amazing memories of times with friends i no longer have, watched this video as a kid 100+ times viewing this place as the mecca of its time, i wish you all well
Caleb da gamer It is a lot of work!! You just have to keep your head held high and know that if you take it step by step you can get to this point. Though these guys have years of experience on their belts. You just gotta believe in yourself!!
10 years ago, 13 year old me thought this was the coolest thing ever. I was obsessed with parkour and then saw this and had to try it. However, I was overweight and kept putting it off until I slowly stopped watching parkour videos. Now I'm 23 and 100lbs lighter but my body won't let me do that now. Joint pain has decreased my chances. Please if you have something you're passionate about, do not put it off. Although I wish I had done parkour earlier this was a happy rediscovery.
siya4ful Trust me, when you turn into a professional at free running, pain won't be anything. You'll be that pain resistant. A broken leg will feel close to a knee scrape.
I resonate with all these comments. I was 12 and 13 going to tempest and had the best time ever! 21 now and want to come back soon. This song reminds me of tempest whenever I hear it.
I was lucky enough to have parents that could take me here as a kid. I went when i was around 11/12 and still think about this place a lot. We were way too young and unskilled to do any of this cool stuff but as a 12 year old running thru that super mario course, i had the best weekend of my life. Im 22 now and this ellie goulding song is forever engrained in my head, connected to none other than tempest free running.
Colonel Duk Nah ryan is right, although I learnt front flip first, When I first did a backflip i have come to realise that it's a lot easier than frontflip and especially easier to land on both feet. Then again Im only 15 so it might be easier because I'm younger and I'm quite light. Backflips are just scarier to do, once you get over the fear it's very easy
I can't frontflip but I don't even care. I do what I want to, which is not flips. I don't judge myself because I'm not as good as other people. So if flips are something you want to do, go right for it. But if not, well, that's your choice. But just don't pressure yourself to be like others.
I remember just getting into PK back when his video came out. All my friends and I watched it over and over getting so hyped over it. Miss those days for sure.
I remember watching this over and over when I was like 9. I’m 20 now. Literally heard song on TV and memories just started coming. I’m so happy I found this video after 11 years.
I don't know why but I would want to build one of these. Even though it would take about 5-8 years. Like this if you would like to build one of these... =-)
INCREDIBLE!!! every move in this video is huge!! that wall to wall to ground flip!?! holy cow, and that enormous gainer full over the ramp!! this made my day, these people are filthy talented
I remember watching this video and being super inspired, immediately signing up for classes, and spraining my ankle on week 2 so bad that I was out of commission for 6 months, never to return to parkour again. Good times! I guess it wasn’t for me, but I still get inspired by this video though, it’s awesome!

I went to Tempest and got pretty good. For people that didn’t go there but watched the vids, the people in these videos actually were there all the time. People like victor (the spider) and Jesse leflair hung out there all the time and they were all super nice even though I was probably that annoying pre teen fan girling over them haha.
Everyone already said it but I too can relate to seeing this video way back in the day haha. Was 17 and am now 27, the vid single handedly got me into EDM and I’ve been obsessed for years with the genre
I remember watching this with my boi after school 8 years ago, no matter how far apart we are right now, when I watching this again I feel so close to them
Everytime I hear ellie goulding my memory shoots to this video immediately. I remember showing my mom wanting to go so badly. I still got goosebumps rewatching this now. Great video

🙄🙄Yeah but noooo they had to do quadruple backflips and shit😪
yes, they need me just lightly hopping onto a 6" curb and hopping off and thinking that was pretty good.
Still one of the greatest commercials ever filmed, definitely one of the greatest parkour vids
i remember playing mirrors edge back in 2008 and then seeing this video years later..... made me fall in love with parkour. i never really knew how to break into it but here i am a decade later practicing wall runs for the first time. god damn ive been missing so much.
Good luck with your trainings! And thank you for this story, it’s really inspiring imo
Whenever a video game needs parkour, they call these guys.
man its been 10 years and I still shiver watching it.. by the time this was unbelievable to exist
Even 11 years later, it's still a really awesome parkour video
I am so happy I was able to find this video again
Idc what anyone says this video will always be my favorite! Every time I see it, it gets better as time goes on😭🔥
I remember watching this when I was like 9 years old. I'm 14 now and do ALOT of parkour to where it's an everyday thing now. And how it started was when I watched this for the first time and started becoming interested in this to where I wanted to do this.
Do you still do parkour? I want to learn but it seems really difficult lol

that's parkour
MegaMovieMakers3000 nope, freerunning. Think about it, FREErunning. Not efficient, free. Free to use purely aesthetic moves.
oh, i thought freerunning was you just go around doing parkour with no limits
Just an fyi free running and parkour are basically the same thing.
No matter how much time has passed this video still gets me PUMPED!!

Good times! I guess it wasn’t for me, but I still get inspired by this video though, it’s awesome!
