Yes, but can this strat handle "Helicopter" Bashers; in which they get close to you, uppercut, then use Typhoon Turbo Twister, and go right above you to make them near unhittable while trapping you in the same position, until you are low on health in which they finish you off with a dash in the weak spot. This strat may counter the helicopter part but not the Basher himself who while still in the air unfazed by the Spin Dash is able to run away easily.
I also recommend snap. Snap deals high damage at close, can dodge braniums attacks using swoop slam, confuse baniumswith the wall of fire, and also use blue blazes at close range. Still, everything you said about citron is correct
Another great counter is Nightcap with the following: Clear Coating, Shadow Sling Nightcap’s invisibility makes repositioning and movement a great tactic, especially to catch the Brainium unguarded. Going invisible makes it so Brainiums don’t know where to go or commit, since they have to dash forward with their attack. Added with their movement making them go far, and they have to actually think to figure out where you are or went. Sling can help you increase that distance you travel when pressing the button and getting an opportunity to dodge the attack, as well as get out of their Super Jump Thump and Turbo Twister, even if they have Typhoon equipped. Finally, the armor granted by clear coating allows you to survive one full charge hit, making room for you to be able to survive a mistake. Invisible, attack, invisible, attack. Rinse and repeat until they are taken down.
Another good way is to use corn, like if the come up close just use husk hop and vanquish them. It’s less effective than the citron tactic, but it works sometimes. But I’m subbing definitely!
Coming from the expert the only thing i would change in this video is just attack when you can and stun when the chance is open and also I personally wouldn’t use both health upgrades and would use different upgrades but mostly this video is correct about killing brainium basher nicely done for the most part
0:40 He stopped in midair so that your shield would block it, if I saw that I would assume it to be a friendly super brainz since usually they just go right past the shield slam ya in the head and try to continue the combo
When I play as a plant as long Brainium Basher doesn't use Typhoon Turbo Twister, Brainium's are easy to dodge but if they do then they are simply lethal and a don't like them. 7/10, There are more characters that somehow makes Brainium Basher seem easy
Acorn is the best character to kill SB. If you know how to play acorn SB he cannot do anything if he uses any ability. This is one or two free hits. This is without the abilities.
As a braindead basher main I agree that stun gun citron is a good counter, however due my knowledge I'm able to counter the counter. For citron I recommend instead of the Health Regeneration upgrade, emergency exit and refreshing revive.
@@the_patch_notes Actually yes, but not easily. When Night Cap are walking while in shadow sneak every few seconds if Night Cap is on the ground they create a puff of smoke every few steps and when she double jumps she also creates a puff of smoke. This smoke shows where Night Cap is but to me this is to delayed to work, so to sum up the useless fact that I provided I just predict and outsmart Night Cap while she is in shadow sneak.
@@glitchgamr7685 while a good player can track it, it’s very tricky for Brainium, a character that has to commit to a certain direction with every press and can easily lose sight of the smoke. And if the nightcap knows how to strafe and jump around, it’s such a tricky eyesore for Brainiums to deal with. Believe me, I’ve fought them and have done very well cause of movement and timing
@@the_patch_notesYou're right about Brainiums and shadow sneak. I actually only predict when I'm playing defensively and usually go for Typhoon Turbo Twisters to deal with invisible Night Caps, basically bait and switch. Rarely I use this strat to go offensive due to the low success rate of the action due thanks to how hard it is to see invisible Night Cap's particles.
@@glitchgamr7685 what’s very good about shadow sneak too is that it provides a bit of extra speed, and can apply to the jump, allowing for very good strafing options to reposition and catch off guard. Nightcaps can really make a Brainium’s day hell just by switching positions and attacking where the player isn’t looking. Add armor to survive a single hit, and add Shadow Tribute for quick refill or Warp for a clean getaway from Typhoon, and you got a pretty good 1v1 chance. Actually, when you look at it, Brainiums that full charge are kinda easy to take out as long as you move and keep your distance. It’s the Brainiums that just use the single press charge and abuse the air gliding mechanics that are very tricky. They move super fast to consistently hit, focus on just getting close, and usually go heavy on turbo twister typhoon or super ball. Those ones can really only be taken out by correct timing with Goatify or Peached upgrade EMPeach, which in it of itself is hard since they usually are airborn. Also, if you really don’t want to fight Brainium but still help the team, Garlic Drone can help a lot.
Brainiums and TV heads are the reason I keep leaving the game for a while. Brainium wouldn't be that bad it it weren't for the uppercut that lets them be way too hard to hit and get themselves out of any fight whenever they want. TV head is fine except for the yeti which is one of the most unbalanced risk-reward interactions ever But yes, there's a reason I started picking up Citron for the first time right before I last went on break. Beating broken characters with broken characters
I usually use Cactus and when Braniums are chasing me i use those fans that they makes you jump more higher and i put a potato mine at the end so when the Branium falls he will explode with the Potato Mine, this works becuz when you touch the floor you cant attack in a couple of second, so Braniums cant do their attack
Its sadly rare to see a regular superbrainz these days, like whenever i see a superbrains my emmediate thought oh no a branium so i seriously respect your main 👽👽👽👍
well actually i was thinking that someone would use the cactus for the zoom attack that gives 61 or 99 damage and the drone can fly into the sky and give branium bashers a bad time
Gives them a bad time, doesnt kill them. Brainiums will see you as a third wheel. Dodge your attacks, run away if a drones attacking, occasionally hit you with a ultra ball splash damage, usually to take out said drone, and wait for the moment to strike you. Cactus' best counter is the potato mine. That dude flies around fast, so you dont really get that much time to think, especially if their attack strategy is darting all over the place and knocking the plants around until they get KO'd, so you just put those in all the usual spots they land whilst running around and its only a matter of time. Better yet is to have one of those mines hidden in ur a** 🤣 and act oblivious so that when one comes for the kill you can have em land on the bomb or if things go wrong you can use it as a suicide bomb works half of the time which is better than being dead 100% of the time. Best spots you can drop a mine is either by using the ferris wheel as a camping spot with bombs all over making navigation impossible without them wasting a little time destroying all your mines leaving them open to attack, or using any area that they have to jump up to as a camping spot with mines to blow them up as soon as they reach you (usually trees since they have to land right on the top of the tree to get to you, aside from that youll have to dodge everything they try throwing at you and they will try), or any pool of water as a trolling spot where you can hide mines in the water and make em chase you oblivious to the fact that they are running through a mine field! very satisfying. works like a dream on the Nintendo Switch because they optimized water to the point where it lacks any transparency and the only way they'll know theres a mine there is if it blows them up. But yeah the 99 damage is incredible. Some of my best moments were with the cactus. Also just a FYI camping in spawn isnt a very good idea, whenever im in a situation like this i tend to run away from spawn right away because players like these have probably flown around that one area for hundreds of hours so just a little change is enough to throw em off, and not only that there is a glitch with the space cadet where if you try to become a space station at the same time as going in another player space station, when you eject from that player and do a gesture after the animation for the gesture ends it will glitch them into the space station animation where they will float twice as high in the air so what im trying to say is they can hide behind walls or on top of trees and snipe plants inside their spawn and you cant do anything about it because their hitbox is still lower on the ground hiding so plants shoot right through you, basically a phantom godmode in certain cases because they have to shoot under you at your ghost hitbox instead of your character
Acorn is actually the best for killing brainium he has a small hit box and a dash and oak can deal so much damage hat he will die super quick and a good enough brainium can destroy a citron but an acorn can kill a brainium unscathed
I have a wild solution that saved me alot when i play as cactus and see that brainium next to me release his bash attack straight at me i immediately plalce a potato mine and watch that brainium fly into sky as the potato mine deal 175 damage and his max hp is 175
shogun is good because of the shield and husk hop. peashooter has pea suped that can dodge branium. And snapdragon has swoop slam and crazy damage. But i do also think citron is the best at stopping a branium.
I am grateful for the opportunity as I see that you 1v1 many other PVZ youtubers 👽👍 but due to lack of time and the fact that I don't really play BFN or gw2/1 anymore I will have to pass on the opportunity, but I'm happy you asked 👍👽
What I do in those situations is analyse what their strategy is and try and test in a private server mabey ways of stopping that's what I did at least and it worked
Btw if that's not good enough proof the first time using the strategy I got an 80 kill streak so it definitely works👽👽👽
