@@krishnaleela1 don’t think that is necessarily the takeaway. Not all bacteria everywhere are beneficial. For instance, soil bacteria can be pretty pathogenic.
I see all the vides for maintaining diet and searching the foods which is rich in fibre, protein and good fats. But, no vide is giving me that much of satisfaction. At the age of 47 I am satisfied that my search is ending with your great video. Hereafter if I have any doubt, I will definitely search your videos for my clarification. Thank you so much sir 😊

For the many people who are completely vegetarian how can they ensure they are eating all the right nutrition, like how to consume a full profile protein diet or how to get vitamine b12 that vegetarians lack or how to keep carbs lower. Basically a full guide on how to stay healthy and vegetarian.

I had come across a company Auxochromofours that do gut microbiome sequencing and determine these food bacterias from stool of individuals.. got some sequencing done and found some solutions for supplements as well.. Most to all of the information is still unknown of the gut and in India because of population and food diversity as he said the microbiome changes from one person to the other and keeps constantly evolving. If someone wants to check their microbiome contact them they would be happy to help..

There are 2 ways. One is to just slowly cook butter and remove the non-fat solids. The other is to ferment cream, churn that and then cook that down (makes for more flavourful ghee)

Meat typically plays little or no role in the context of the gut. We digest everything in meat (protein and fat). Bacteria in our gut are primarily feeding on plant products
Breakfast cereal is bad for our Gut. Same for bread, what should I eat for breakfast 😢? It is not possible to make dosa, upma on weekdays, due to shortage of time. I usually take eggs daily in the morning with bread or cereal.
i think the microbiome react certain way when bad food or bad emotions from the brain through vagus nerve are sent to them. making them feel deprived or uncomfortable or react in certain ways that kills them or make them to leave this environment. but it just what i think. not sure. but good video overall im learning a lot.
Hey a question, Doc said that whey protein is safe but also added that sucralose is not good for the gut bacteria, having whey protein which has sucralose affect the gut bacteria or it's in a safe limit to cause harm?
While Whey protein in itself may not be bad, they are almost always sweetened with artificial sweeteners which you pointed out are not great. Unflavoured options do exist, but not as common. Just something to keep in mind.

Hi Ashok, I have followed you on Instagram for quite some time and this is your first video I have seen on youtube (long format). While the information was no doubt great, I found some bits to be redundant. Longer time frame obviously is better than 90 sec reels for in depth understanding but editing could definitely improve. Big admirer of your work.
I do this as a weekend hobby and focus on science story telling instead of fancy editing 😅 I don’t want to feed the algorithm with a typical high budget style one sees on UA-cam all the time. Let’s see. Perhaps if the channel grows, I’ll consider using an actual camera instead of my phones selfie camera in vertical mode 😁
yes I'll pick science story telling over fancy editing any day but i feel that the editing will bottleneck the quality story telling that you want to post because these things do matter unfortunately and this is coming from someone who is not superficial at all, but anyways you do what you feel is best and let me know if you ever need some random guy for your video 😂

What I love and wish to see more of: - Absolutely loved all the parts where you and the doctor were explaining things on-screen. - Occasional callouts and images for things that viewers like me would struggle to picture as you explain it. eg: Picture of dna helix, bacteria, intestinal tract, other science related images. - Surely, a few funny pictures or short clips sparsely used. What did not seem great: - Having you pushed to a side while the right side of the video was constantly bombarded with images and memes that latched on to every sentence you said. This was mostly distracting and seemed unhelpful. I started watching your youtube content after watching you on instagram. Your content on instagram seems to have far less of all that side content, but lots of you in the center. I feel there's been better balance in terms on content on screen on IG. - Too many generic/poor quality images that seem to deteriorate the overall quality of the video. In summary, I really like your videos when you are the main point of attention in the video with maybe occasional images to help viewers picture things and a few well-placed funny clips.

Cesarean delivery does not seem to be the way where evolution has inclined in any animal, so didn't get why calling vaginal delivery as normal is an issue with inclusivity of language.. unless it was used to create a taboo for moms and babies who go through c-section. There's obviously more concern as it involves a cut.

My point is calling something normal doesn't automatically tarnish the other way as somehow bad right? In general language normal is used as what happens more commonly. @@krishashok As I suggested above, it's often just used interchangeably with average or common, at least in Indian English and it's hardly limited to the description of delivery. I wonder if you have taken this from any survey etc. but aside from added concern due to surgical procedure, I haven't seen any taboo in the general population, certainly not among the ones who would speak English and thus use the phrase, to suggest that they imply c-section (or assisted / epidural) is somehow wrong. In the US or UK they may call it natural birth, I doubt the unnatural one is seen in any negative light there either. The phrasing simply seems to be rooted in how evolution shaped the mechanism and the alternatives we were able to achieve. Also, I asked because you mentioned about how Indians refer to it, neither suggested that you somehow stopped me from referring to it in a particular way nor did I question your individual choice of words - so the latter clarification is unnecessary :)
Very informative video thank you for sharing this. But, one point... let's keep vaginal delivery as normal delivery because it is, please don't normalize cesarean delivery. Specially, in India where it's already an epidemic. Every private hospitals are so eager to do it to every mother that I have lost respect for the doctors. So please let's be progressive where it doesn't hurt others.
As someone who doesn’t have a uterus, you or me don’t get to decide this issue. My opinion was on the basis of observed biases where vaginal delivery is “preferred”, putting needless pressure on the woman. Ultimately it should be the woman’s choice, not society’s
@@krishashok many videos claim that the vaginal delivery babies get more abundant bacteria collection from the mothers vagina/gut which improves the childs immunity. If that is true it should be the normal and the preferred delivery method. In that case it will be ‘short term discomfort for the mother and long term comfort for the child’.
Delivery method depends upon both maternal and fetal health, and the hospital infrastructure and support available. It is absolutely wrong to stamp vaginal Delivery as normal and better that caeserian because the factors determining the decision of which method to choose are always very varied. On the whole it's very stupid to generalise saying vaginal Delivery is best for the baby.If both die during Delivery will you be responsible then?

the amounts used are pretty tiny but yes, if you can get an unsweetened one, go for it!
It's easier to make whey at home and use it in making rotis sabzi etc

Everything is fine, but under the picture enlisted examples of bad and saturated fats, the mention of coconut and coconut oil is misleading! The creator should pay attention to such misinformation also!
I also felt shocked to see that. Coming from a costal area we survive on coconut oil and products 😀😀.

Hi Ashok, I have followed you on Instagram for quite some time and this is your first video I have seen on youtube (long format). While the information was no doubt great, I found some bits to be redundant. Longer time frame obviously is better than 90 sec reels for in depth understanding but editing could definitely improve. Big admirer of your work.
Really informative video, I hope your channel grows and keep up the good work. I think you can do with a better editor though 😅
I do this as a weekend hobby and focus on science story telling instead of fancy editing 😅 I don’t want to feed the algorithm with a typical high budget style one sees on UA-cam all the time. Let’s see. Perhaps if the channel grows, I’ll consider using an actual camera instead of my phones selfie camera in vertical mode 😁
yes I'll pick science story telling over fancy editing any day but i feel that the editing will bottleneck the quality story telling that you want to post because these things do matter unfortunately and this is coming from someone who is not superficial at all, but anyways you do what you feel is best and let me know if you ever need some random guy for your video 😂

Sharing a thought about the on-screen content.
What I love and wish to see more of:
- Absolutely loved all the parts where you and the doctor were explaining things on-screen.
- Occasional callouts and images for things that viewers like me would struggle to picture as you explain it. eg: Picture of dna helix, bacteria, intestinal tract, other science related images.
- Surely, a few funny pictures or short clips sparsely used.
What did not seem great:
- Having you pushed to a side while the right side of the video was constantly bombarded with images and memes that latched on to every sentence you said. This was mostly distracting and seemed unhelpful. I started watching your youtube content after watching you on instagram. Your content on instagram seems to have far less of all that side content, but lots of you in the center. I feel there's been better balance in terms on content on screen on IG.
- Too many generic/poor quality images that seem to deteriorate the overall quality of the video.
In summary, I really like your videos when you are the main point of attention in the video with maybe occasional images to help viewers picture things and a few well-placed funny clips.

But if you see my latest video (on spices), that is now horizontally shot for youtube and there are fewer distracting images/memes etc

Cesarean delivery does not seem to be the way where evolution has inclined in any animal, so didn't get why calling vaginal delivery as normal is an issue with inclusivity of language.. unless it was used to create a taboo for moms and babies who go through c-section. There's obviously more concern as it involves a cut.

My point is calling something normal doesn't automatically tarnish the other way as somehow bad right? In general language normal is used as what happens more commonly. Like a normal person is used in place of an average person or how we may use 'normally' to start the sentence to describe the regular daily routine, or diet or type of music you may consume etc. - doesn't mean you're somehow troubled by other days, diets or genres

@@krishashok As I suggested above, it's often just used interchangeably with average or common, at least in Indian English and it's hardly limited to the description of delivery. I wonder if you have taken this from any survey etc. but aside from added concern due to surgical procedure, I haven't seen any taboo in the general population, certainly not among the ones who would speak English and thus use the phrase, to suggest that they imply c-section (or assisted / epidural) is somehow wrong. In the US or UK they may call it natural birth, I doubt the unnatural one is seen in any negative light there either. The phrasing simply seems to be rooted in how evolution shaped the mechanism and the alternatives we were able to achieve.
Also, I asked because you mentioned about how Indians refer to it, neither suggested that you somehow stopped me from referring to it in a particular way nor did I question your individual choice of words - so the latter clarification is unnecessary :)

But, one point... let's keep vaginal delivery as normal delivery because it is, please don't normalize cesarean delivery. Specially, in India where it's already an epidemic. Every private hospitals are so eager to do it to every mother that I have lost respect for the doctors. So please let's be progressive where it doesn't hurt others.
As someone who doesn’t have a uterus, you or me don’t get to decide this issue. My opinion was on the basis of observed biases where vaginal delivery is “preferred”, putting needless pressure on the woman. Ultimately it should be the woman’s choice, not society’s
@@krishashok many videos claim that the vaginal delivery babies get more abundant bacteria collection from the mothers vagina/gut which improves the childs immunity. If that is true it should be the normal and the preferred delivery method. In that case it will be ‘short term discomfort for the mother and long term comfort for the child’.
Delivery method depends upon both maternal and fetal health, and the hospital infrastructure and support available. It is absolutely wrong to stamp vaginal Delivery as normal and better that caeserian because the factors determining the decision of which method to choose are always very varied. On the whole it's very stupid to generalise saying vaginal Delivery is best for the baby.If both die during Delivery will you be responsible then?
